They claimed I didn't confirm my daughters appointment so I didn't have one anymore, even though I have two text messages of me confirming the appointment I made a week in advance. Waited for 45 minutes only for her to tell me she "was working on it." We just walked out without an exam because I wasn't about to be blamed for their mistake. Pulled my daughter out of school for an appointment that she never received, that I confirmed TWICE, and still got told it was my fault for not confirming.

Visionworks on Wrightsboro Rd by the Augusta Mall was Awesome! You Rock!!! My experience was amazing, the staff was very professional, Courteous & patient! Will continue getting my glasses with you all, I love the service! Roschelle Jones 01/14/26

Absolutely wonderful place. The only issues I had really was the parking lot. Oof. Need a bigger and more clear parking lot because that foolishness had me going in circles. But the people are nice the building was clean, clean, and pristine! Also I had to bring my kids and they were very understanding and accommodating. Most of the people looked like they enjoyed their job and were happy to help.

I was greeted by friendly people willing to help me each step of the way - through being seen by the optometrist to deciding on glasses. Everyone was willing to go the extra mile to be friendly and patient when they were gathering information, having me complete tests, and when choosing my new glasses. I felt like I made a good decision to visit this location rather others in my insurance network based on the experience of this visit and from reading reviews from other people visiting the other places. I left here happy knowing that the glasses I ordered will both look great and help make a difference in my vision. It was nice that the glasses were affordable too. I should have visited sooner!

Absolutely one of the worst vision care experiences we've ever had. My daughter and I made two separate visits to this location, and each time we waited well over 90 minutes -- with no exam completed either visit. Our first appointment was on Friday, October 31, 2025, and after sitting for nearly two hours, we were told "the system went down." Frustrating, but I agreed to reschedule. Fast forward to Monday, November 3 -- same story, different day. We arrived on time and waited nearly an hour before even being called to the back. Once seated, we waited another 30 minutes before I finally asked to speak with someone about the delay. That's when Chris, the manager, came out. His response was dismissive at best. There was no apology, no accountability, and no urgency to address the fact that we'd now spent hours over two visits without being seen. He offered vague excuses and essentially told us we'd just have to keep waiting. Two hours past our scheduled time, we left -- still without a single exam performed for either me or my daughter. To make matters worse, my daughter is almost legally blind. Her glasses are not optional; they're essential for her daily functioning. This level of disregard for patient time and care is unacceptable. If you're comfortable waiting endlessly, receiving no updates, and potentially compromising your personal health information, then maybe this office works for you. But as someone who values professionalism, respect, and basic patient care, this experience was beyond disappointing.

Horrendous customer service, have been a loyal customer for years and they make every step along the way difficult. You pay every year for an eye exam just for them to tell you they can't order you contacts because you have to make a separate appointment to try them on . It's not that difficult, had to go to a separate branch hours away just to have help with a simple task of giving me contacts. Never going back

The lady that worked in pre-testing during my visit was extremely rude and impatient. She complained about things that were beyond my control - such as the size of my eyes?? She said I would have to go somewhere else and refused to continue the exam in front of other patients. Talk about embarrassing. I have had glasses for 20 years and have never had someone not be able to complete an eye exam before. Seems like she just didn't know how to do her job. Will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone.
