Disorganized, unprofessional, and dismissive patient experience My experience at Wellstar Eye Care was extremely disappointing from start to finish. When I arrived, the front desk area was unattended. Staff were in the back laughing and joking about another patient who had called asking for information. One staff member said the patient "should have asked the doctor when they were with the doctor" and that she couldn't help them. Hearing staff openly mock or dismiss a patient before even being checked in was unsettling. After waiting, someone eventually returned to the front desk, asked for my name and date of birth, and told me I needed to sign a consent form. No form was given, so I waited. Instead of explaining that the consent was on a digital pad, the staff member abruptly said "Hello!" in a rude tone, as if I had done something wrong. I was then taken to an exam room and left there for over two hours. No one checked on me. No updates. Nothing. When Dr. Kremer finally came in, the exam felt rushed, which was frustrating after such a long wait. Overall, the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and complete disregard for a patient's time made this a very negative experience. I won't be returning.
