EDIT: Dr Millican and Dr. Bhula have stepped in and corrected my prescription at no charge. Dr Millican is very kind and he has been very thorough and apologized that there was a miscommunication. I honestly wish I had been able speak with him in the first place, but again, the receptionist and office manager wouldn't let me get past their definitive "I must have changed my prescription at checkout and I need to spend more $ on new lenses". . This was my first time getting glasses with this office and it could have been a miscommunication and I pray I didn't misunderstand anything - but regardless, any office that will make things right and be sure their patients can see and are happy in the end are great people. I appreciate the extra time Dr Millican took today so much. My new prescription is wonderful. Orig. review: Dr Bhula was great. She listened to what I had to say about my vision and my concerns. We discussed both glasses and contacts but decided on keeping just glasses with my new rx and keep my progressive lens. That's the prescription she wrote and she admitted that to the front desk. I was delivered single vision glasses 3 weeks later. It was a Friday morning and when I voiced my concerns that everything looked fuzzy and made me dizzy, I was told to give it the weekend. I did. I gave 2-3 weeks. I felt the glasses were not working and I realized they were not progressive lenses. I called the office to set up an appointment for a follow up. I wasn't given the option, the receptionist wanted to handle my issue over the phone. I told her I was given single vision glasses and they weren't working well for me and I thought I was supposed to have progressives. She said I was prescribed progressive lenses. I asked her why I was given single vision and she stated she didn't know. She then accused me of changing it from progressive to single at check out! She has no evidence of this and said that that's what MUST HAVE HAPPENED. I would have never gone against Dr Bhula's recommendation and what professional establishment lets customers change their prescriptions on the spot without Dr consult?! She said if I needed new lenses that they would work with me and I would "ONLY" have to pay 50% of the new lenses. After spending hundreds on my brand new pair, I was going to have to spend almost $200 more because of their mistake they won't own up to. We are leaving this practice. I work in the dental profession and have for decades. I would never treat a client this way. They have no documentation that I called or said anything about changing my prescription at checkout but they do have a prescription for progressive lenses signed by Dr Bhula. Horrible way to conduct business. Buyer beware. We will be contacting the BBB to see if we can either get my correct lenses or refund since my insurance already paid for these. And by looking at their Google reviews, I'm not the only one having this issue.

They are great and see my six-year-old daughter. Timely and very nice! Highly recommend.

This is where we have been going to for the last 7yrs. They have been the ABSOLUTE BEST. Great Customer service friendly smiles and helping hands. I wish more places or people did service like this one. I would rate higher... but I only gave it a 5 star.... CAUSE THERE WAS NO MORE STARS.... AMAZING

Awesome staff! Millican Eye Center are the best place in town for any of your eye needs or eye ware. They have a professional staff that takes care of you as soon as you walk in the door. Thank Dr Millican and staff. Big Bear!

Have been going to Dr millican since back in the 80's ...a very long time! He and his office staff have always been very nice and helpful. Dr millican is very thorough. A good selection of frames and always get new prescription back in a timely manner.

I have been seen here for ten years. Used to buy my glasses from them, but they sold me used Costas and claimed they were new, even though they were bent. They said it needed an adjustment, they took the glasses to the back and made them even worse! Finally the eye doctor got involved and said she'd order me a new pair. If she did, they never called to tell me they are in. Over one month now. Mullican eye center- where we steal from our customers!

I had my first official eye exam at 43 years old today with Dr Bhula and I couldn't be happier. She was thorough, kind, and provided the best care using amazing technology. Turns out I needed readers as suspected. I recommend her and the professionals in their office to anyone.

What an extremely nice staff. Good selection of eyewear, that I perused while waiting for my arm pieces to be adjusted.
