Believe the other negative reviews of this office and stay away! Dr. Tillman seems like a nice guy, but I really question his judgement. I've worn the same contact prescription for over a decade and he decided to change it because in a few years I'll be 40 and he stated my eyes might change so he wanted to adjust the strength now. I'm totally confused why you would attempt to address an issue that doesn't exist. But his office went ahead and ordered me a trial pair of contacts. It took 2 weeks for the trial pair to come in (in 25 years of wearing contacts and glasses I've never experienced more than a 3-4 day wait). When I went to the office to pick up the trial contacts I had to wait over 20 minutes before someone helped me (every other Optometrist I've ever been to has been able to hand me my contacts within a minute of walking in the door). The next day I go to put in the new contacts and notice there a further changes to the prescription that Dr. Tillman hadn't mentioned to me during my visit. It takes multiple calls over the next couple of days to get anyone on the phone that can clarify if the prescription was correct. At this point I'm just done with this Optometrist and ask the receptionist if I can be partially refunded the $270 I paid for the visit because I don't want to be a patient at this office. They forward me to the General Manager who is rude and unprofessional, and instead of offering me any of my money back, has the audacity to say they actually undercharged me and should have charged me more. I would recommend staying far away from this place!

I called as a new patient and everything went smoothly at first. They scheduled me for a Tuesday 8:20 am appt. I arrived at 8:10 to fill out paperwork only to see that the open at 8:30am. Strange. I waited in parking lot for about 10 mins and then decided to leave. I've never even received a call. Very odd.

In 2006 I wanted doctor Tillman's office with my son. They a very unprofessional. The office manager told me my son's glasses would be ready and one week it took them 3 months. The 2nd time I want to visit this doctor was in 2013 this there was very unprofessional I want to buy some designer frames which were overpriced and I even ordered some designer frames that I could not get in a store's fenndi. When one of the designer frames broke they did not want to honor their policy on replacing the glasses with a warranty they made me pay more money extra outside of the warranty just a fixed the glasses and they wand up give me a different pair of glasses. 2013 When try and talk to Dr. Tillman about his his staff the he deals with issues is talking about his personal business, his daughter was in her 20's and going blonde this his way of not dealing with his staff just change the subject. I wonder is karma really real. It looks like it is really real , you just can't treat people any kind of way with out it coming back to you. In 2019 I went back for the last time. Him and his staff is racist towards color patients they don't like colored people and they don't mind showing you that. His staff treated me so unprofessional. The woman to my money for my co pay and was bring me back my changes, I reach out my hand to get my money back from she snatched back her hand and you to to sigh this first so the insurance will pay and said I will please first give me my money. Said no in a very loud and rude voice I went on and singhed the paperwork and than so give me my my money back. And I went and down her and another woman came to the counter and said I could not be seen . I asked her why they said I had blue cross and blue shield and I did not ,so in order for to be seen by the Doctor I have set another appointment the two women was trying to deny me the right to see my doctor for no reason. And I got my insurance on the and they that I only have insurance not two insurance policies and they send them some right so they get it . This other insurance company just pop up out no ware. Try to Dr. Tillman again about his staff he change the subject again talk are family's and how well his blonde daughter is doing she on the radio now, I sai my self wow people don't care they treat color people, this will have to take a act of GODto change the heart of some people! If you go to the Tilman eye center in Carrollton and if you visit ithis office and you are colored! you see how racists and prejudice this office is you go here you will see if you are a colored person.!!! And this day and time people should be ashamed to judge people for the skin that there in ,we are all God's people and this is God's green Earth and we should share it together God-bless any colored people who go to this office. I will never return and you learn too. never return. People of color don't give your to a place that hates.

My family and I went, we paid half upon our first visit and half upon picking up our glasses. They said we never paid the second half, waited a year and turned it over to collections, even after showing a bank statement to prove it was paid off! They will rip you off!

I'm a long time pt. of Dr Tillman until January 15th 2024 while trying to make an appointment and was met with terrible customer service and attitude. Will not be back.
