I don't know if I could say enough about Olivia Chambers!!! she was absolutely awesome to work with. She suggested what would be best in my case and the whole experience was great. Shout out to her for her awesome caring attitude.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS got to Pearle Vision instead
I first went here in August 2024, they refused to take my prescription and made me get a new exam.
I went for an appointment At an appointed time, they had me wait an hour before i would get seen, then put me in the exam room SO LONG my phone died and I fell asleep.
They made me come back and got my trials, i got them, and had them for a week and my eyes are red, I look and this is not the brand i paid for. I go in and they said yea its a different brand, when i said thats not the brand i paid for they said they no longer carry the ones i had paid for. They made me take another exam, long waits of course. Had me try a different brand, it fit better but I COULD NOT SEE, the prescription. Several visits and still no contacts. One of the final times i went one white lady was there dealing with me and said "i'll be back" got the ONLY BLACK WOMAN to come deal with me, if found this mad disrespectful. But that black woman came from the buckhead location and was so sweet and finally got me and i finally received my contacts.
First went in August 2024 and after MORE VISITS than i can count, i finally got them in January 2025.
I refuse to go back and today I just went to Pearle Vision and they got me in and done in one hour with my contacts coming in next week
I will not ever be going back. Not sure why politics are being brought up by the DR even thou he's nice. However the actual optical department is the worst. They must have just came from the other job as used car sales ppl. I almost wanted to step in to help one of the customer's be hustled from paying over $1000 after their insurance. I hope you sleep well cashing in those commission checks. What a joke. Not even mentioning how they don't even give you the correct name brand case to go along with your glasses... What are you doing? selling those on the side to go along with those commission checks?
I went here to get my eye exam done on September 16, 2025 I paid in total $505.50 for the lens and the eye exam. One month later I went to pick up up my glasses with the new lens, but the company or the people who made my lens didn't get my eyeglass prescription right because it was double than the normal prescription I was supposed to receive, the lady that attended me told me this, so I gave them back so they could fix it. One month later after the eyeglass prescription was supposed to be fixed, I went to pick up my glasses with the new eyeglass prescription but it was the same thing as the previous visit, it had the same problem. I was attended by the same lady that had attended me in the previous visit, so I asked for a refund and instead I only got $406.50 instead of the original price of $505.50. The lady said she couldn't give me back the prescription refund, now how will I know if the prescription was correct or if it was a mistake? I thought it was a professional place.
Dr. Tillman, the employees and services are amazing and awesome! Just one negative: it seems the appointments are over booked. The entry/waiting room is always full and the wait for me is 55 minutes to an hour or more. My time is important to me.
I sincerely love this place. They're very caring of their patients and making an appointment is super easy. I've gotten both glasses and contacts here and i've never once had an issue. I brought in my glasses for a repair (I sat on them), which I thought could not be done, and they fixed them after some time, patience, and care FOR FREE. I recently got contacts as well with them and Olivia was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It's very obvious that this establishment cares about their practice and their patients.
I went in this morning to have a prescription for my eye glasses. Betty greeted me with a beautiful smile. She was very knowledgeable kind and professional. I will be going back for all of my eye care. I am 70 year's old and she took the time to answer all my questions. I hope my eye doctor knows what a gem they have in her. Thank you Betty for caring about your clients.

Believe the other negative reviews of this office and stay away! Dr. Tillman seems like a nice guy, but I really question his judgement. I've worn the same contact prescription for over a decade and he decided to change it because in a few years I'll be 40 and he stated my eyes might change so he wanted to adjust the strength now. I'm totally confused why you would attempt to address an issue that doesn't exist. But his office went ahead and ordered me a trial pair of contacts. It took 2 weeks for the trial pair to come in (in 25 years of wearing contacts and glasses I've never experienced more than a 3-4 day wait). When I went to the office to pick up the trial contacts I had to wait over 20 minutes before someone helped me (every other Optometrist I've ever been to has been able to hand me my contacts within a minute of walking in the door). The next day I go to put in the new contacts and notice there a further changes to the prescription that Dr. Tillman hadn't mentioned to me during my visit. It takes multiple calls over the next couple of days to get anyone on the phone that can clarify if the prescription was correct. At this point I'm just done with this Optometrist and ask the receptionist if I can be partially refunded the $270 I paid for the visit because I don't want to be a patient at this office. They forward me to the General Manager who is rude and unprofessional, and instead of offering me any of my money back, has the audacity to say they actually undercharged me and should have charged me more. So now I'm just out $270 for nothing. I would recommend staying far away from this place!
