PROS: Prompt. Knowledgeable. Patient. AMAZING customer service! The doc was great & attentive. Special shout-out to Ms. Dana! What a wonderful human. I wish I could've taken her home with me & my family!
CON: get someone with a better disposition for the front desk, please. She was the ONLY negative person in the building. Very short (almost snappy) with other patients (standing at her desk AND when she answered the office phone) as I was waiting. Not welcoming or empathetic AT ALL. Her presence seemed...off... when compared with the rest of the staff & vibes of the customer service.
AMAZING EXPERIENCE OVERALL.
I had a great experience at Visionworks in Columbus, GA. The service from the moment I walked in was excellent. The staff greeted me right away, the wait time was reasonable, and everything that was offered to me during my visit was explained clearly and professionally.
I was able to schedule my exam at a time and location that worked perfectly for me. My doctor took a personal interest in my needs and made sure my vision care was a priority. The associates were helpful, attentive, and made the entire process smooth from start to finish.
Overall, my time was well spent at this store, and I highly recommend Visionworks for anyone needing quality eye care and great customer service.
At 49 years old, this was my first time ever needing glasses, so I wasn't sure what to expect -- but Visionworks made it easy.
I was in and out in about 45 minutes. The doctor explained everything clearly, and the assistant was friendly and helpful throughout the visit. Great customer service and a smooth first experience!
My experience at Visionworks in Columbus, GA-- was superb all three visits so far, and each one has been nothing short of exemplary. From the moment I walk in, the ladies had excellent customer service skills. The staff greets you as soon as you walk in the door, the wait time is reasonable, and everything offered during the visit is explained clearly and professionally.
What really stands out is that they never pressure you. They're patient, understanding, and truly listen to your needs. When I ordered my glasses and realized the prescription wasn't what I expected, they had no problem adjusting it to a distance prescription without any hassle. That level of customer care means a lot.
I would highly recommend this optical/optometry store to anyone looking for quality service and genuine support. I'm due for a new prescription soon and was also wondering--do you fill the Meta Glasses with a prescription?
Simply giving 2 stars because the girl who checked me in was very upfront and honest about being a LONG wait and being super behind, and the doctor was very nice. My previous appointment was okay, but I was NOT told it would be a virtual appointment. I was disappointed about this, and turns out when they called me a week later, my prescription was wrong and I have to schedule another appointment two more weeks out. I get there today and my appt was at 3:45. I waited to be seen until 5:20... it was a shame. The doctor was very nice and I told him I didn't appreciate the ladies telling me that I just needed to let my eyes adjust and make me feel dumb for the glasses being blurry.. turns out my prescription really was wrong, like I said. Crazy. I don't think I'll be back. And the other front desk lady was smacking her gum so loudly. It was gross.
Front desk was amazing! Got me Checked me in fast and also was helpful with any questions I had. The exam team was really nice they explained everything so well. They were very sweet.
**2 stars simply because the 2 check-in girls and Opthamologist were nice. The store and General Manager Lolita would have 0 stars if I had the option to break the review down.
The Opthamologist who was in temporarily due to the retirement of Dr. Yo was very nice. The two young lady's who checked me in were very nice. However- the Manager, Lolita, is about as rude as anyone I've ever dealt with in the healthcare/services line of Business. Her general demeanor is one that screams "unhappy with my job, and customers annoy me". A General Manager should never carry themselves like that, because it will trickle down to the employees under her. Being ignored while the people (different skin tone than mine, but same as Lolita's- Coincidence? Maybe. But this isn't the first time I've gotten this vibe from her. ) who finished the exam after me are greeted and helped immediately is not how VisionWorks corporate wants customers treated, I am sure.
The frame selection for men is awful. The selection appears to be the same frames with dingy, scratched up demo lenses in them that were out last year. This year, I chose not to settle with their selection and took my prescription with me to find a new store for my purchase of glasses.

My visit at Visionworks was absolutely Awesome! The staff was very polite, knowledgeable and provided service with a smile. From the young lady that checked me in, then my visit with the Amazing Dr. Yoe to finalizing my order with Mrs. Dana. Excellent customer service!
