Overall a good experience, clean facilities. Front desk and staff in the rear are professional and helpful. Would have rated 5 stars if not for one of the employees at the check out desk viping. Who does that? This is a medical office and the lady is sitting at her computer checking patients out and is viping!! Bty, this was at the warm spring location

Every time I go to West Georgia Eye Care there is an issue. Today, at the desk at the North Columbus Office, the front desk girl asks me what my last name is. I tell her, I spell it for her, give my dob and first name, offer her my ID, which she refuses. She asks me my name again. She is always so flippant! She says I am not in the system. I have seen this doc before. It takes an act of congress for them to find my info. She calls someone, it takes a long time, meanwhile, the check-in line is backing up. Apparently, their database is not very searchable, by dob and first names, or by doctor, or any combo of those, which is surprising, because other systems are, a fact I know from experience from using them personally! I am rightfully upset, embarrassed. OH, but don't you DARE question them! They also have a local monopoly in eye care here as well as Phenix City. I would like to remind them that there ARE OTHER doctors, and I have a vehicle!! Also, tried to make an appointment online, that didn't work either. I DO NOT have these issues ANYWHERE ELSE. I can't stand how many people in Columbus act like they are so EXCELLENT, but fail to realize that there is an entire UNIVERSE of medical professionals outside this little bubble with which they are being compared. But, this office does NOT CARE if you are having a problem, and just cuts you off before you can give the details, and blames it on YOU, the PATIENT. Why, West Georgia, do you let your front desk person upset your patients, have a non-searchable computer system, then blame the patient for your system causing the problem?! If you do not want to listen to patients, then why are you in Healthcare at all?

I am so angry with the lack of care that I received with Dr. Nix. She did I suffer from a chronic condition called Iriis it can be extremely debilitating if you have it regularly. I have had this for almost six years. This condition has changed my life as I knew it. I have not been able to work in years because my vision is so off, and I drive short distances only if I have to. She was extremely flippant with me, and could not understand why I was not able to see better. This condition may not be concerning to her, but it has changed my life for the worse. I will eventually find out why I have this debilitating situation. Thank God it won't be by here

Removal of cataracts from both eyes now has my sight needing spectacles only for small print. Thank you Dr Nix.

Dr. Nix did my Lasix surgery. I couldn't be happier with the results and the care she gave.
