This was my first time at this eye clinic, and my first eye exam in quite a while. This clinic made the whole process as painless as possible. They were great at explaining my eye insurance to me. The receptionist was wonderful, and the doctor was fantastic! Dr. Jabaley did an excellent job; he was super friendly, and explained what I needed to know about my eyes in a manner that made it easier to understand. I plan on visiting this clinic again in the future. In fact, I have already lined up my whole family!

Had my first appointment at this office today. I have had a couple bad experiences with eye places in the past, but this office is fantastic! Dr Jabaley is super nice and conscientious. All of the office staff were great, and I would recommend them to anyone. My little ones were a bit rowdy during my appointment, and they were incredibly patient and good about it which I doubly appreciate! Will return for future services

I had already left a one star review but now it's gone, so here's my second review. Myself, my daughter and my husband were seen here. All three prescriptions were completely wrong. My daughters wasn't strong enough and she was dealing with headaches. My prescription was DOUBLE what it should be. He also said that I was pre-glaucoma and that I had to take two separate eye drops to prevent it from happening. But, I had to come into his office every so often to have the test redone. Of course, that was expensive. I went and got two "second opinions" and was told that I am no where near glaucoma. I even went and got a third "second opinion" from a big box store and they said the same. I have migraines but after getting these glasses I started getting migraines that were so bad I could barely get out of bed. Two weeks ago my headaches felt like there was an ice pick in my orbital socket. That's when I went back to the big box store to get new eyewear, and that's where I found out my prescription was double. I know that posting this review is bound to have them contact me, but I won't be answering. I have spent SO MUCH MONEY at this establishment to find out everything was wrong.

First off, I love the kindness and professionalism you hear from their office staff when you call. Second, Dr. Jabaley was able to point out diabetes problems affecting my family members eyes, which finally prompted him to get medical help and work towards stabilizing his insulin. . It has quite possibly saved his life.

I love Dr. Jabley and his staff. He is always very friendly and helpful. His staff is as well!! I've been coming here for 4 years. I wanted to try contacts and Dr. Jabley made sure that they worked for me. They are also very patient with trying on glasses and make sure that they fit before you leave. And they will do adjustments as needed for you. They sometimes have deals which is awesome too, like buy one pair get another 50% off. Derrick always makes picking out glasses fun.

My experiences with this entire office are top notch from start to finish--always! Dr Jabaley's team is wonderful and Dr Jabaley is the best in the business providing premium eye care! Update: working on a home project I ended up with a piece of metal embedded in my eye. Had a similar situation a few years ago and I went to the ER. Ended up costing me over $400 out of pocket and my eye felt like it had just endured a procedure from Roto Rooter. Second occurrence Mountain Eye took care of it and it cost me a whole lot less. A whole lot less AND it was a much more skillfully done! I didn't have an appointment but it was clear from the beginning that the office acted with urgency on my behalf--I really appreciate all that was done to take care of my eye emergency!

I'd give this a "0" if possible. My daughter drove over the icy mountain from Blairsville, snow storm yesterday shouldn't have even gone down for the appointment but didn't want to be charged a no show, there was several downed trees and black ice. She was 5 minutes late. They refused to see her! Tried to charge her $30 for a no show. She got there at 12:30pm, their closing for lunch wasn't until 1:00pm. She was in the car calling me to tell me all this, it was 12:35pm and the eye doctor wabbles out and gets in his car and heads off for lunch. Very obvious he didn't even want to see her, and earlier reviews of him, said he did not like seeing Medicaid patients (which my daugher was). She took off work, lost half a day's pay, and she could've made an appointment that would have actually manifested with a more professional and caring eye group. This is sub-standard patient care, just awful. No excuse. A few minutes after my posting, the clinic called my daughter and said because of the review I posted, she was no longer welcome to make an appointment there. I also want to correct their response, they erroneously referred to "they didn't have a missed appointment yesterday" when her appointment was actually today. We are rural, so she had a 1 hr 15 minutes drive over blood mountain to get there; didn't matter to them, they wouldn't see her after her being a few minutes late . Their policy is a no-show after 10 minutes late, but I know for a fact, because she called me before the 10 minutes was up, and she had arrived 5 minutes late to that appointment. They just didn't want to see her, probably both because she was medicaid and/or the eye doctor took that opportunity to have his early lunch. A professional place would not have contacted my daughter to tell her she wasn't welcome there any more, it's a white trash move, to have the last word. PLEASE don't use these people, they don't deserve your dollar. Whether you may be fortunate enough to have a good experience with them, they are - who they are - and shouldn't be allowed to treat patients this way.
