John B. Whitlow, OD

Dr.Whitlow was an answered prayer. Not just because of his expertise in treating me (after many months of no answers from other esteemed professionals trying to find out what was wrong with my eyes-including an Opthalmogist, and a Neuro--Opthalmalogist before I found him. The others didn't find my problem!) Dr. Whitlow not only immediately diagnosed the issues, he saved me a large amount of money by sparing me the anguish of more dead end roads. Yes, I even researched "minion-eyes" googley avenues. "But "WAIT---there's more!" I had simultaneously been juggling other health issues, and the loss of vision in an eye, previous surgical complications, constant insomnia; in fact the same day I had been at the hospital dealing with multiple serious tests concerning my "other" issues. I was stressed and exhausted. I called his office to schedule an appointment, with panicked urgency. Success! His compassionate, encouraging courteous, knowledgeable, professional demeanor was superb . He and his "team" worked together to find a same day work-in. I was long past "fatigue". This was full on "no working brain" territory. Extreme difficulty speaking coherently (at moments even rationally) filling out paperwork, even walking. Dr.Whitlow calmed, assured, encouraged, and diagnosed me; then he actually brought the first smile to my face in many months. I finally exhaled. He explained everything to me in a way I understood and made me feel "seen"! Like I said at the very beginning-he was an answered prayer!! I'm so thankful for him and his wonderful, supportive TEAM (not just staff). What a tremendous blessing they were!!

Amazing Dr. and staff! I had severe eye pain, called multiple Dr. offices nobody would see me. I called Dr. Whitlow's office and he got me right in and diagnosed/treated me. He saved my vision from long term effects! I'm very thankful to Dr. Whitlow and his staff!

Staff and doctors are welcoming and attentive to your needs. Dr. Whitlow listened, examined, and gave detailed explanation of the issue. Wonderful eye care clinic!

Such a good man , professional , kind , informative and he makes me laugh it's rare to have these kind of doctors with such bed side manner in our area we are blessed to have him be apart of this community !
