I had an appointment on 2/20, today is 2/22 and I'm still thinking about their wonderful service! The 2 front desk receptionists went above & beyond when taking care of me (they even charged my phone when they didn't have to)! They were super kind and treated everyone else the same, which is surprising because young adults such as myself aren't so nice these days anymore. These girls were super sweet, the staff was very helpful and attentive from start to finish! Thank you everyone

I visited Clarkson Eyecare at the beginning of September, and my experience was phenomenal! My doctor, Dr. Anderson, was very thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly about my eye health. The entire staff was also amazing, from the friendly ladies at the front desk to the team that helped me pick out my glasses and understand my insurance options. Everyone was patient, knowledgeable, and kind.
I truly appreciate the level of care I received. Highly recommend Clarkson Eyecare!

I'm writing this review to warn others of tests and charges that seemed unnecessary. After my previous eye doctor passed away, I decided to give this Clarkston location a try for it's proximity to my house. I didn't like that once you're inside they want to test for this and that, which felt like they're just trying to "Upsell" you. I understand they may test for other things upon inspection. But in my Last visit I reluctantly agreed to further "Test" for Glacouma as told by the Doctor. After looking at my results, I mean taking literally seconds to tell me that I possibly had Glacouma. After hearing this, I got the chills and Almost Threw Up, turns out I didn't. But the experience left me traumatized. How can you diagnose something So Serious and be So Careless? Long story short, I didn't come back here and found another eye doctor. I hope this helps someone to make an informed decision. And the Doctors here be a little more conscious about they blurt out and sympathetic towards their clients!

There is a lack of transparency in pricing. I was offered a contact fitting without being told that it was not covered by my insurance. The eye doctor said I would receive a trial set of the lenses as well. Before I accepted, I asked if I would have to pay for the contacts, but I suppose my wording was ambiguous enough for the doctor to make no mention of the $70 price tag for a contact fitting, as she only said that another staff member would tell me how much entire boxes of the lenses would cost with my insurance. Perhaps this is common knowledge to most of their customers, but I have never had my own vision insurance until now. This has been a tight month for me already, and I was not expecting to pay money that I didn't have for something that I didn't need. Despite the very friendly staff, I don't believe I'll be coming back to Clarkson Eyecare after I pick up my glasses. In fact, I feel foolish for not being more suspicious of their oversweetness.

Made the switch from Visionworks to Clarkson Eyecare and had my first visit. Front staff was super nice and friendly! Dr. Anderson was very funny, nice, and informative. I was seeing Visionworks since 2018, but since they were not in network and because they disappointed me as I attempted to go back for my annual exam last week, I had to find a new eye doctor. Couldn't be more satisfied!
