Always a fantastic experience!
Wonderful people great friendly staff
I've been going to Lilburn Family Eye Care. love the friendly service and great care they have for their patients. Most of all, I like that everything is done quickly while maintaining great quality.
Overall an amazing experience every time!
Our family has used this office for over a decade. Even through the change of doctors. Always have had a wonderful experience and enjoyed the quality Eyewear.
Unfortunately, we have not been in over 2 years because of Covid measures and simply not wanting to take a risk of exposure or have to deal with mask requirements, as I am not able to wear one due to my medical condition. My 15 year old son has a disability that also makes wearing a mask impossible. (He has autism)
So I called last week to schedule an appointment for him because his glasses are broken and 3 years old. After scheduling, I mentioned that I cannot wear a mask and neither can my son. I was told that we would not be able to get the exam and my appointment would need to be canceled until some unknown future date when masks are no longer needed. Which is ridiculous because we were told 19 months ago that we only needed to lock down and wear masks for 2 weeks, yet here we are 10 months after the vaccine has been on the market and we're still in full blown Corona panic.
So I asked if the doctor has been vaccinated, because surely if she's had the jab, she ought to be protected, right? No need for discrimination against my disabled son.
Oh, she's had the vax and everyone in the office has too!
So I said, "why doesn't she believe in the vaccine???" To which I was told that the doctor herself would give me a call to discuss. I waited all day. No phone call.
Doesn't she believe in the "miracle vaccine"???
I'm writing this review to remind the doctor that my family has been patients there for many years, in fact the entire time she's been practicing there and many years prior.
She needs to be reminded about the rules of ADA, American Disabilities Act. She is required to make reasonable accommodations for patients with disabilities.
Sadly, I will be looking for another eye doctor as this one has proven she doesn't understand the law, nor the science, and instead has fallen for the propaganda. Either the vaccine works, or it doesn't. If it works, she's protected and there's no legal grounds whatsoever to require masks of ANY patient, but definitely not for patients with disabilities.
I've attached pictures of my son's glasses, which are bent and missing the ear sleeves. He really needs a current exam and new glasses, but some other doctor will be getting our business.

Always a fantastic experience!
I've been going to Lilburn Family Eye Care for more than 5 years now. I love the friendly service and the great care they have for their patients. Most of all, I like that everything is done quickly while maintaining great quality. I was in and out within 1 hour. Although it does depend on the amount of people and how much time you spend on looking at the glasses.
Overall an amazing experience every time!
I am so grateful that I found Dr. Amin! Since my first visit, she was very thorough and went above and beyond for me. She ensured I maximized my insurance benefits and got a whole year's worth of contacts for me for my condition. Dr. Amin is very committed to her patients. Dr. Yin took care of me on my last visit and she also took her time to perform all the necessary tests on my eyes and ensured I was comfortable with my contact choice. I will continue coming here for my eye needs and have recommended to my family and friends!
I have been going to Dr. Amin for at least 8 years I think...could be longer. Recently I felt I had vision issues and needed to make an appointment. There is no place else I would go....and no one else I would trust like her.....I have referred people to her...one of which contacted me this morning...asking for the number to go back. I hate when I see negative reviews of good people and great businesses....I'll be calling for my eye check this week. ....all I can say is go see for yourself...this is a great place and Dr. Amin is wonderful!!
My very first visit here seemed to be headed in the right direction. As I meet with the front desk staff and from there the male optician who assisted in selecting my first pair of Glasses. He the optician showed and spoke with me about different Eyeglass options. We chatted for about an hour before I was called to the back to have my complete first annual eye examine. which was well pass my appointment time by the way, but I did not say anything just went along with it. Again, everything seemed to be going well in other words relationships seemed to be forming. As the owner and I discussed many things as well as my yearly check -up I became more and more excited about picking out my first pair of glasses. And knowing I would have great assistance in doing so. Once I departed form the back office back to the Optician which is the only male you will see before seeing Dr. Amin. Very overly chatty which was a red flag at that point, but I understand I am not to Judge. As I sat across from this man for a whole hour he scratched HIS PRIVATE area quite frequently as though I was Invisible or blind. Very disrespectful degrading unprofessional and unsettling. Sir you Should have been home with that not in the public sector in front of a first time guest going from your private to touching glasses to trying them on me. first-time guest (new patient) Well I finally decided to go with the biggest frame clinic had which was not big enough for me, that is why I took my time to decide. After my insurance paid their portion, I was told that my balance would be around 250.00 with a deposit of half down. Not bad for a great Investment (Eyeglasses) I became very hesitant about returning because the glasses really weren't large enough for me. Mind you i spoke with the optician for about two hours (Much fast talking over me another red flag) Ater three months later returned back between that timed I received emails and phone calls my glasses were ready. I get home and decided to put on my fresh pair of new glasses as they began sliding down my nose (pretty painful) I call Lilburn Eye Clinic to report this, the Optician became very smart mouthed as though He was a different person after I had paid my complete fees for my glasses as though this was Intentional (Take the money at whatever cost). I decided to call back and have the owner to call me. Dr. Amin made the call only to say I would need to pay another fee for frames after paying good money for these red ones that they knew came with a heavy frame lenes and refused to tell me. the glasses became really huge after the Installment of the lens. The prescription that is. How was I supposed to know this. (A scandal for sure) I would have not picked these glasses with the help of the talking Optician who knew firsthand and Dr. Amin as well. She stepped out of her office several times speaking highly of these glasses. Never once told me the glasses run big. Because it was all about the Insurance money and me paying out of pocket. Greed will eventually catch up with you all. My Glasses hurt so bad sliding down my nose I had to get other glasses for comfort. Horrible experience. Please go elsewhere everyone. Do better and learn to be upfront with Guest.
Staff was super professional. The dr took time to explain everything. She was very knowledgable. Also they were great when providing me options about my glasses and lenses. Best eye appointment I've ever had.
Dr.Amin provided the most thorough and compassionate eye care I've had in years. She's personable and professional. I highly recommend her.
Also, Troy is delightful to work with on frames & lenses. This is a great office environment.
