On 1/19/2026, My partner and I first time at this location. Dr Holcomb was amazing. He carefully explained everything to me and was extremely knowledgeable about my eye health. After my visit with Dr Holcomb, that is when my visit took a turn for the worst. We waited for an hour before anyone helped us. It was 5 people waiting to be seen and 2 people working. They were very slow. Lizette (The manager) arrived from lunch. I don't know if she was having a bad day or what! Her attitude was horrible and she was very cold and short during the visit. After she finished measuring my glasses. She just walk off without saying anything and didn't assist my partner with his glasses. When I said something to her about helping him. She said Oh, I didn't know he needed assistance too! But he was sitting next to me with glasses in his hands. By that time he was turned off by her attitude with me. He no longer wanted her to assist him. I've been going to the Douglasville location for several years and I will continue to go to them. Everyone is warm and friendly and willing to help. I'll only come for Dr Holcomb visits and go to Douglasville for my glasses.

As always, Dr. Travis was amazing. I have seen her for several years now and she's always been so kind and informative. Also, I have to give a shout out to Pearle!! She is so personable and professional!! Great personality and all around beautiful person!

I have been a patient of Dr. Holcomb for several years and he had been great. My review is related to the scheduling and service of the office in general. I recently went to a follow-up visit and I had called days before to ask how long the appointment would approximately run and was told 30 minutes. Got there at 12 noon and I was not seen until 40 minutes later! This has been the 2nd time this has happened so not sure if this is because the new owner/optometrist is trying to cram more appointments in to make more money or what, but is quite frustrating and not considerate of the patients time. It seems like there are a few new assistant that aren't as skilled as previously. Also when I checked in with the receptionist they asked why I was there because there were no notes for my appointment. Lastly, staff should inform patients at the top of the appointment when something is not covered by insurance, as they already had my insurance on file from previous visit. I hope this taken as ways to improve.

Dr Holcomb and the staff are all very nice. The front desk staff greeted me and helped me with insurance information. The assistant was very professional and pleasant. She explained everything she was about to do. Dr Holcomb has always been great. He is very knowledgeable. He is up to date with new studies and techniques. He knows his stuff. He appears to really enjoy what he does. He is thorough. He explains everything in a way that is understandable. He welcomes questions. He recommended more testing based on my health and family history. I am comfortable with the care I receive from Dr Holcomb. The office is clean. The assistant cleaned the equipment prior to each use. Dr Holcomb also values the staff there. He recognized them for their role in assisting him to provide the patients with exceptional care. I would hands down recommend anyone and everyone to see Dr Travis. She was WONDERFUL! She was warm, very personable and thorough. I came to her after a very negative experience elsewhere and felt HEARD. I felt like she listened to my story, validated it and provided a wonderful experience. I will not go anywhere else for my eye exams now.

I had my eye exam with Dr. Travis a couple of weeks ago. I must say this was the most educational and comprehensive eye exam I've ever had. I was a patient of big box store optical centers, although the exams were fine, they never felt thorough or addressed my concerns I've brought up many times (dry eyes, lenses feeling gritty and uncomfortable). Dr. Travis not only gave me a 1st class exam, she also in detail explained all the pictures taken of my eyes and what they meant, she also touched on the blood vessels, hypertension, diabetes etc. I also discovered the lenses I was wearing since 2006 were super outdated and not well suited for dry eyes. I got a new prescription for daily lenses and I must say they are wonderful! I even received a sample of eye drops that I can uses if my lenses do get dry during the day. Overall, Dr. Travis is a patient oriented with excellent bedside manners and truly cares and listens to one's concerns. Thank you, Dr. Travis!

I just called to see if there were any specials running for an eye exam and the thing that picked up the phone had a very poor manner and tone on that 2 minute phone call. Name might be Nicole. So unprofessional! While the docs are GREAT, I sincerely hope they can find staffing professionals to represent them in a better manner for the quality service they provide.

I received exceptional customer service and care from Dr. Mohamed. Dr. Mohamed was very thorough and she answered my questions and concerns regarding my vision in a way that I understood.
