Family Eye Care of Marietta was awesome from the first time I called, to try to get an appointment for a family member. Jenny was so pleasant & helpful, & got us in that same day. Yuli was equally pleasant & helpful. When we arrived, I mentioned that I needed to eventually get MY eyes checked due to vision problems. Yuli was able to get me in with Dr Horak, as a dual visit with my family member. Visual assessments were very thorough & Dr Horak prescribed treatment for family members eye issue, & my assessment concluded that I needed glasses (for the first time in my life). Terrica was pleasant, helpful & so patient with me, as it took some time for me to decide which frames I wanted. Office is clean & they have a large selection of glasses. Norrie was helpful as well. Special Thanks to secretaries/assistants Jenny, & Yuli, as they were the first I spoke with on the phone, & their excellent customer service is the reason I decided to try this eye practice. Upon meeting Dr Horak I was relieved, knowing I had found a great eye Dr. He was knowledgeable, pleasant, & it seemed like we've known him for years, as he has a great way with patients. He did a very thorough assessment, & answered all questions & concerns. A sense of trust was established, not only with him, but with his entire team. We had such a great visit overall, that we encouraged the rest of our family to go there (range from age 7 to senior citizens). Since then, 3 have gone, & had a wonderful visit; & a few more are planning to make their appointment with him in the future. I hate leaving a bad review but this was a horrible experience. Waited 45 min for an appointment, but that's not even the worst part somehow. I went for a contact lens fitting and they gave me a wrong prescription TWICE, the first time didn't feel right so I came back hesitantly and they changed my prescription again after evaluating me for max 3 minutes. Once I tried the contact lens at home, it's obvious the prescription is wrong. The staff is nice but I don't know how much the doctor cares about proper care and treatment. After going to this office 2x to try and get a prescription, I went to the dr in the lens crafter at the east Cobb avenues, got a NEW prescription again, much more accurate to what I expected & got proper care there.

Dr. Ivo Horak and his employees were very responsive and helpful. I was working down the road and got some debris in my eye. They fit me in their busy schedule considering I needed immediate help. I could tell right away how professional and knowledgeable he is when it comes to eyes. He saved the day that's for sure I wish I could leave him 10, 5 star reviews.

The staff and doctor are really lovely to work with! I had excellent service and detailed results. The process of getting a new prescription was easy and educational. This is more than your typical optometrist office.

Dr. Horak and his staff are amazing! As a new patient, my appointment was extremely smooth and they laid out all the details. If you need an optometrist who loves what they do and cares about your health, go see him!

Scarlet is was so helpful! I had trouble finding glasses for my gigantic head, but she persevered! She answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood every part of my purchase! I highly recommend this place.

Went in to for glasses for little sister, when I asked the nice representative if they had anyway to fix my glasses, she said yes and fixed and cleaned my glasses free of charge, she was very nice and quick too! Definitely thinking about making them my primary optometrist!

Recently visited this new location for a routine eye exam. Office is beautifully decorated and very customer friendly. Dr. Horak performed the exam with great care and executed eye tests I had never received before from other doctors. The equipment used was new and start of the art. You can tell that Dr. Horak put a lot of thought into the choices of equipment and details into this new office. I am very relieved to have found an eye doctor that cares about me and my vision.
