Low Country Eye Care (Pooler)

Had a great experience at Low country the other day. Staff got me in, was very helpful along the whole process. No one was pushy on sales, just generallywanted to help make the experience great. And if they give you the choice, Shawn is by far the best tech they have!

Great experience overall. I showed up about 40 minutes early and was taken care of without any issues. Libby did an excellent job with my scans, explained everything clearly, and was very helpful in getting me set up with contacts since they're new to me. I really appreciated how patient and thorough she was.

Emily at Low Country Eye Care was amazing to work with. She went above and beyond helping me choose a pair of glasses and took the time to double-check a prescription I had from another provider, which turned out to be way off from what I actually needed. Her attention to detail and willingness to help made a huge difference. I highly recommend asking for Emily if you're looking for someone knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful.

I had a great experience at this office. Dr Barker really took the time to listen to all my concerns and helped figure out what was causing my vision issues. Dr Barker explained everything clearly and even went over the next steps if my new glasses don't fully solve the problem, which made me feel really supported. The front office staff was also amazing. Jasmine did my exam, and made me feel so comfortable through the whole experience! The staff worked hard to make sure my insurance covered my medical exam when they originally were not going to and kept me updated throughout the process. Overall, I felt genuinely cared for from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this clinic, the staff were so kind and welcoming. Shawn (tech) was specially helpful and courteous and followed up to me when I needed additional information. The doctor was also wonderful - he took time to answer all my questions and made sure to ask if I had additional concerns. Overall, it was a great experience.

I had an appointment at Low Country Pooler today, and the entire experience was outstanding. Emily was welcoming, professional, and very knowledgeable. She walked me through each step of the exam and made sure I was comfortable while waiting for Dr. Champion. My visit with Dr. Champion was just as great; she was personable, thorough, and took the time to review my images and answer all my questions. The team that helped me choose my glasses was terrific, too. I believe her name was Stacy, and even while training a new staff member, she remained attentive and detail-oriented. Overall, a five-star experience from start to finish!

The entire team was wonderful to Say the least. They were friendly, helpful, kind to explain everything clearly so on could understand. I never felt rushed or any pressure to do or commit to anything. The staff that did the largest part of the exam seemed to know what they were doing. The doctor and training doctor were both great. I told them they made the visit relaxed and gave me the confidence that they knew what they were doing. Let me say one more thing. I came to them under the VA community care program. I'd gone to another local doctor in Rincon three years in a row and it seemed that every year they less and less interested in veterans. There were times, as I said every year got worse, when I was rushed, when it seemed they could have carried less about taking Care of veterans. When it Came to frames they had a small --very--small number of frames to chose from and if you didn't like any of them, Well that was tough. They send an appointment reminder but when I selected a date that would have gotten me in close to my anniversary date I was told that date was not available to VA patients. They gave me a date several months down the road and Then adding insult to injury when I went to my appointment there was a sign they were closed for a couple hours for a party --I understand Christmas but I am only a cell phone call away. There was a number on the notice. So, I left a message. When they called back they told me I should have come on it. I don't make a habit of trying to open businesses doors when they are closed you know what I mean? And worse the young lady acted like it was my fault/my problem and that I had missed my appointment. Then to put salt in the wound when I told them at my Eye Doctor how I had been treated the lady at the VA acted like It was all my fault --just like the people at My Eye Doctor said: the VA wouldn't do anything: when I was on a active duty businesses that My Eye Doctor would have been put on a black list...I guess time has changed and perhaps the VA is not the VA is not As active and caring as they once Were. Go to LOW COUNTRY IS YOU NEED ANYTHING DONE TO YOUR EYES OR A EVEN JUST A REGULAR APPOINTMENT, I believe you will see a night and white difference between Low Country and My Eye Doctor; with Low Country being hands down the better choice, A least they were for me

Low Country Eye Care (Pooler Office) has a phenomenal team! Dr. Schnobrich is an expert in fitting gas permeable contacts, which is almost impossible to find these days. Miss Emily was very professional, and helped find the perfect glasses for me. She was quite exceptional at her job and courteous as well. Thank you to all at Low Country Eye Care for a great experience!
