I have a friend (African-American) who explained her condition to your office over the phone. A cataract in one eye and retinal detachment in the other. She needs surgery right away. However, when she got there last Wednesday she was unable to pay the $40 copay. She promised to pay you guys this Friday, but you turned her away. You rescheduled her appointment for TWO WEEKS later and to add insult to injury you guys hesitated to give her a doctor's note, because she took off work for this appointment. She was the first patient there, and then an African-American woman came in with her elderly mother. After that a Caucasian woman came in not wearing a mask and coughing, and was called to the back first. My friend is now seeking another doctor... because you guys valued FORTY DOLLARS over her eye care.
