Had an appointment, then they rescheduled. Then upon arriving at my next appointment, they tell me that neither of my insurances are accepted. This is a whole 24+hours AFTER checking in through the digital portal link and uploading my insurances. No one took the time to tell me that they wouldn't accept them, so the whole 50 minute drive to statesboro was for nothing.

Had to give a 1 star because there are no negative stars. Just called to make a appointment and because they have been so booked up i have not been there in a couple of years. They have become very rude on the phone and just found out that I am now considered a new patient they will not except my Insurance. They only except only one kind of insurance. Now I see why they have dropped to 2.9 in ratings, maybe need to be lowered.

There's a reason why they have 2.9 stars. To start the representatives are unprofessional, rude and a few should not be working a job where they have to interact with people. They wrote my information down wrong and then had the nerve to be disrespectful and ugly towards me. Save your time and look somewhere else.. The Dr will just discharge you based on these horrible people that work the phones. I thank the lord he sent me the sign..

I greatly appreciate Dr. King he's a jewel i know God does the work through his hands but he cares abou his patients that's what I like i give Dr. King 5 stars and some.....

If I could give this place a 0 I would they are the worst run office I have ever encountered. My husband was told by a Dr. He would remove a cataract.When he called to schedule the surgery he was told by the nurse well the Dr does not think it would help. He was referred to another Dr in the practice do the surgery the date was set and he was given a pre op pack. Which stated that the office would contact him the day before to give him the time. When we did not hear by 3 pm I had him call them. He was told that surgery was canceled weeks ago. We asked by whom they stated they did not know. Run this is the most unprofessional atmosphere I have ever encountered.Now they want to refer him to another Dr. No Thanks !! Awful

Dr. Piros in Statesboro saw my husband first thing in the morning for a welding flash burn. Super speedy and thorough care. Thank you for saving us.

If I could give yall a zero I would. My mother has been hospitalized so she wasn't able to make her appointment so they dropped her right before she was preparing to have cataract surgery. She went through months and months of getting painful injections in her eyes but she had to have an unexpected surgery which delayed this one. Most of their patients are elderly....they may get sick and miss appointments. That's why you always give a secondary contact number if they are not responding. Now my mother has to find a new doctor and start all over. My heart goes out to her because she can no longer drive bc she us basically blind and can't seeIt's heartbreaking to watch.

I was told by my family doctor I had shingles underneath my eye. I was very grateful for the last minute appointment I was able to get with Dr. Kim. On the other hand, my appt was at 3:30, which I waited patiently for 2 hours and I really didn't have a problem with being the last patient. It was on a friday afternoon and believe me they were ready to go home. The young lady at the front was so nice and also the nurse was also. However, the doctor was horrible, maybe he had a bad day but believe me I felt like I was wasting his time. Between me and my insurance, I'm sure he recieved at least 200.00 for that visit. He spent a total of probably 10 minutes and was literally walking away away from me when I was asking a question. I plan on telling my family doctor and I will not recommend anyone to see him. My husband and I both have used Georgia Eye Institute and have not ever had this to happen. :(
