Hwang Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Eye Surgery (hwang angwa)

I visited the clinic yesterday and had a wonderful experience with Dr. Hwang. Dr. Hwang explained everything clearly and took the time to answer all of my questions. The examination was done calmly and professionally, which made me feel very comfortable. I truly appreciate the care I received and highly recommend Dr. Hwang

Dr. Hwang is the real deal. no sugarcoating just straight to the point, he took the time to explain his diagnosis in korean to my mom and english to me. super nice and patient guy, will recommend to anyone.

My mother, who came from Korea for a visit, fell a few days ago and seemed to have a problem with her eye, so we made an appointment and came in. Dr. Hwang examined her very thoroughly, was very knowledgeable, spoke Korean fluently, and explained everything clearly. He also quickly arranged a referral to a retina specialist, so the entire process went smoothly. We are especially grateful for his kindness.

VETERANS BEWARE..........! I recently had a C&P exam with this ophthalmologist (Brice Hwang), and my experience was horrible. Throughout the appointment, I felt that the doctor did not take the time to listen to my concerns or review my history thoroughly. The exam felt rushed, and I left feeling that my symptoms and explanations were dismissed rather than evaluated objectively. Based on how the exam was handled, I did not feel that my case was assessed impartially or with the level of care I expected. I'm in the process of appealing my results, as I believe the evaluation did not accurately reflect my condition. if he is your examiner I suggest you request a new one, this guy is clearly bias to the VA.

Dr Hwang is a very kind, friendly and knowledgeable ophthalmologist. I have visited him a few times over the past two plus years. When another practice told me I needed a cataract operation, he was very honest letting me know that I still had years left. I highly recommend him for anyone looking for a highly rated ophthalmologist.

I don't usually write a review but I want to share my great experience with Dr. Hwang. He is a very reliable and professional doctor I've ever met so far. He explained all my concerns very easily and clearly. I was surprised that he was fluent in Korean. As far as I know, He is the only Korean ophthalmologist not optometrist in Atlanta. I highly recommend him if you find a professional eye doctor!

MD Hwang is expert in Ophthalmology. He examined throughly and advised my symptoms with his advanced expertise. I'm very lucky since I found a good ophthalmologist in Atlanta area.
