The following is exact of the communication that I had with doctor. 1. Call my name, 2. Told me have a seat here, 3. Did preliminary exam with not speaking a word. 4. Told me to come this way. 5. Told me to have a seat he would be with me shortly. 6. When he came back, did the usual eye exam of do you see this better or this better. 7. Said follow me. Slammed folder down on opticians desk. 8. Somebody will be with you in minute. 9. He started checking and feeding his tropical fish. At no time did he ever say anything time other than the words that I have explained he said. While I was waiting, he checked on his fish three times. Furthermore, I can see no change in the glasses I have now than I did before, if you want to call it an exam. I cannot in good faith recommend this man to anyone. I hope this review will not be taken as sour grapes. It is meant as a sincere concern that Upson Medical Center should be concerned over..

After a complete examination (refraction and vision) Dr. Deen stepped back and told me, "This is your vision with lenses." Then he swung the device away and said, "And this is your vision without lenses." There was no difference! He could have prescribed contacts for me and increased his profit, but he chose to take the high road and be truthful.

I ordered a pair of glasses for my 4 year old son who really needs them and they estimated a time of 2-3 weeks I called after the 3rd week and they told me my insurance hasn't approved it yet. I call back 2 weeks later same story. I call every week after that and on the 3 month mark they tell me they don't have his frames in stock to come choose new ones!!

You may regret going here. It would be better to drive to Griffin or toward Atlanta, instead of going to this horrible place. The Doctor must have cheated on his exams He prescribed a steroid eye drop for a year for me and he made a mistake and thought he prescribed Restasis, so now I have cataracts . He might be OK for glasses but not eye issues.

The optician himself, is very professional. And, I've no complaints regarding him. However, the assistant in the lenses department. Very rude. She Would not attempt to try to repair a missing screw from my son's glasses. Just, "no! I can't help you" . I am assuming, her rude behavior is due to the insurance I have. Is her reasoning behind being unhelpful, .Unfriendly, . I am NOT sure of her name, nor do I care to know. But, I will say , I am Not referring to the assistant named Christy. She's very nice. It's the older lady assistant. I think it is funny that some people THINK they can tell what someone's financial status is because of the way they are dressed. Or what they drive. Guess again. .

First of all, if you have never been to Upson Eye Clinic, you should make an appointment just to see the beautiful salt water aquarium. The fish are unique and so beautiful and the plants and other things will blow your mind!! If you want to be treated fairly, have your vision needs met, not only be heard but to be listened to, then Upson Eye Clinic is the place to go! The prices are fair. The staff is amazing. They are very friendly, conversational and make you feel comfortable. You are seen on your scheduled time. I have never had to sit and wait. They get you in and out, while never making you feel dismissed or rushed. Dr. Deen goes above and beyond his duties to make sure his patients are on the correct vision path and satisfied with the route they are taking to get their vision as perfect as possible. I say this because I have witnessed him giving my Mom her eyesight back. If he hadn't been so dedicated and caring then she would still be in a bad situation. But because he is a great doctor, he never gave up and exhausted every option until they found the best solution with the best outcome! I will always go to Upson Eye Clinic for my vision needs. Requires masks for visit and they won't provide one but the staff isn't wearing them.
