America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I took my daughter in for her annual eye exam. Mr. Warren Forgtner was the best. My daughter's glasses were so filthy and they were no longer fitting her face properly. Mr. Warren went above and beyond when he cleaned them. He took the lenses out and thoroughly cleaned them and the frame. Then he adjusted them so that they would fit properly upon her face. She had been struggling with the fit for awhile. I even took them to another company to be adjusted and they wouldn't touch them. Not only did he clean my daughter's glasses with such care, he took the initiative to clean mine. His willingness to provide excellent customer service, his kind demeanor and pleasant disposition were commendable and appreciated.

I went in to get a new pair of glasses. All of the staff was awesome but Ms. Frances Ann was amazing. She had a great attitude. She made sure I got a pair of glasses that looked well on me. We discussed the Pair Eyewear selections. I bought the pair while in the store thanks to her. Shout out to you Ms. Frances Ann. It truly showed that you loved what you do!

Everyone was super nice! Especially Frances Ann!!! She was extremely patient with me. I'm a very indecisive person when it comes to finding new glasses. She never once rushed me and gave me her honest opinion about the glasses I were looking at! I got two pairs for only $95!

I'm only giving 2 stars because the receptionist was very kind and the gentleman that did my pre exam testing was incredibly friendly. Other than that, I just had a horrible experience. I booked online for an exam to be fit for contact lenses. That was my whole purpose of going. So they do the regular eye exam, I am on the zoom call thing with the eye doctor, she goes over my exam and then asks me if theres anything else. I ask her about contacts & tell her that was my reason for coming. She looked at me like I had 10 heads. She says it doesnt say anywhere in my chart that i was there for lenses. & was less than kind when telling me that i will either have to go somewhere else or book with the in person doctor. She asked the technician when the doctor would be back & the tech said they had no way of knowing. So thats how she ended the call. Immediately after hanging up, the tech says "i am looking at your chart and it says right here that you are here for contacts". And im wondering.. why didnt she say anything on my behalf???? So thats not even the worst part. I go to the front to finish up & get my printed prescription. & she tells me that i am going to have to pay out of pocket for my contact lens exam that is OVER a month away. She said they used my covered annual exam for the eye glass exam. When thats not even what i booked NOR what i wanted to be seen for. The doctor told me that my glasses still gave me perfect 20/20 vision so i saw no need to get new glasses.. again. Because I was there solely for contacts!!! Anyway.... It was just a horrible experience in that they didnt do at all what I asked & also cost me my covered annual eye exam & it wasn't even for what I booked for appointment for.... I will never be returning.

While the associates working are nice, you will wait a minimum 1 hour after your appointment time to be seen. There seems to be a lot of disorganization. I showed up early and every person who came in after me was seen before me for a full hour, which is pretty frustrating. I thought it was a 1 off but this happened multiple times. I think the move is to show up an hour late to your appointment and you will be seen faster than if you show up on time. There only seems to be 2 technicians scheduled at a time.

I waited for 25 minutes to get helped the that told me it would be 2 hours to see a doctor after refusing to give me my prescription when I complained the staff laughed at me. I don't have time for this lackadaisical attitude that their staff has there was no sense of urgency and the staff was completely unaware and didn't care that their staff was 2 hours behind schedule. What a bunch of crap I've never seen this poor of service at any other Americans Best and I've seen them all over the country what a disgrace the management staff should be fired . usual rude individual that works at the front desk was gone thank God. I was largely ignored and I'm here still waiting I'll be up on my updates soon

Staff was very helpful while we were there. Dr that took the appointment virtually was so patient and I appreciate that considering the situation. However, getting a call back from the manager after calling and leaving my number twice has been the worse part of this experience. My only question was if we could have gotten a discount with my uncle's insurance and if so how much versus a single parent paying nearly $400 for his glasses and they have yet to call me back. If they don't want to bill the insurance just say that.

Baby I love me some American best. And Ms. Frances.. your the absolute best! She friendly and very understanding. The way the staff in a while greet you as soon as you open the door makes you feel right at home. They had me in and out in 10 mins. Thank you guys I greatly appreciate you all even down to your friendliness.
