if i could give this doctor and this office a zero star, i would. no bed side manners. rude. don't care about his patients, let alone his employees. talks to people like their idiots. and the new office manager ain't no better. don't take your loved ones here unless you want them treated like a rug.

Today I waited in the exam room to see Dr. Gonzalez for one hour. When he did walk in, he did not speak, let alone apologize for his lateness.
He has the worst bedside manners of anyone I know. I yet have to learn how I became his patient.
He need to take lessons from his receptionist.
I wonder does he bother to read the reviews concerning his mannerisms.

Lady at front desk was very rude. I walked in with my mom and she was on the phone with someone and she was talking loud and calling out the person birthday, dob, and insurance information. She was violating HIPPA. I just stood there and she continued to talk , she finally told the lady to hold on . She told my mom she was late and I asked her what she needed to do reschedule and she said yes . Remind her it was 4-5 names on sign in sheet and she pulled one and called the patient and told them they needed to pay. So if my mom was late she was late also doing her job. She never called us back to desk to reschedule. Someone needs to be retrained in how to be professional. I know times are hard and people don't want to work but you need to treat people with kindness and be more friendly.

Between the Dr speaking TO me condescendingly, which I formally decided to let slide, and the office staff not returning my SEVERAL calls to reschedule an appointment THEN subsequently charging me a cancellation fee, which ultimately was reversed by billing so I, AGAIN, let slide, to the dismissiveness and cold behavior I feel when I ask to be NOTIFIED WHEN THE DEVICE IS ABOUT TO BE MOVED FROM BENEATH MY CHIN, RATHER THAN MOVING IT, WITHOUT WARNING AS IT WAS TODAY, SO ABRUPTLY, CAUSING IMMEDIATE INFLAMMATION AND PAIN THAT IS, AT 3:34AM KEEPING ME FROM SLEEPING AND WILL TAKE SEVERAL DAYS TO RELIEVE DUE TO THE FACT THAT I HAVE A ROD IN MY NECK!!! This, I can't let slide. Y'all can be as unprofessional as you want, disorganized as you want, rude, and whatever anybody else claims, but what you need to be at ALL TIMES is considerate of your DISABLED PATIENTS' PREEXISTING CONDITIONS AND DEBILITATING FACTORS.

My husband went there for his appointment. The front desk staff was horrible. The doctor didn't listen to him about his keratoconus and the glass contacts that he has used before. She ordered contacts but was not the correct contacts. They told him he will need to come back to be seen for the correct contact lens. Which I understand but if she would have listened, this would have not happened.

Would never come back! Took my grandma who is 99 y/o here the lady was coughing and talking like she may have had a bad cold or something no mask on my grandma said she could not hear what she was saying when asking her questions and so couldn't I. I asked her to repeat it she rolled her eyes as if she had an attitude I asked her if we could get someone else to assist us because we couldn't hear what she was saying she then said " You can hear all you have to do is listen " when we was going to another room Instead of her being professional and saying you can
follow me out this way she said "come on out the room " doctor wasn't very welcoming 0/10 Rob was the only friendly and professional staff there besides young lady at the front desk

I would give this place a "0" if I could. Terrible terrible terrible service. I'll be brief. Dr Gonzalez has no people skills. He entered the exam room twice and didn't acknowledge or speak to me. When I mentioned it to his staff, the reply was "he doesn't say much to us either ". We'll, I don't work for him and he's providing a service. Next, he "updated" a VERY OLD contact prescription without conducting an exam. When I asked about it, I was told "he did you a favor to save you money". I asked for an exam that I williing and capable of paying for, I didn't ask for a "favor". Did I mention he charged me an additional $50 for the "favor". Oh, the prescription is awful and I had to go somewhere else for a complete exam. I just called today and asked about getting the PD so I could order glasses online and was told the only way to get it, I would have to purchase the glasses from them. Really?
Don't waste your time or money. This place is horrible.
