I have been seeing Dr Hackleman for years. Distance had me try out a new provider closer to where I live. Big mistake! New provider had no clue how to prescribe mono-vision glasses, which I had been using when not wearing contact lenses. Ended up being a huge waste of money and time. Made an appt with Dr Hackleman and made the drive from Stone Mountain. My new prescription is perfection! They were able to make my new glasses with the frames I had purchased with the other provider, saving me a great deal of money. The staff at this office is the BEST! Everyone is friendly, helpful and professional. Dr Hackleman is in a class of his own - imo, the best eye doctor in the state. I'll gladly make the 3 hour round trip on a yearly basis to visit Dr Hackleman and his staff!

I saw Dr. Hackelman for the first time yesterday. I highly recommend. His office is efficient and knowledgeable with the latest technology. Dr. Hackelman is very friendly and kind. I'm very happy that we found his office.

Great practice. I was in for a routine exam, and was out the door in under 45 minutes. The office personel, the assistants and the Dr. are all efficient, professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this practice.

I cold-called this practice due to an eyelid infection. Since I would be a new patient, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get a same day appointment, but the staff triaged my need and fit me in. The staff were courteous, friendly, and helpful both on the phone and in person. Dr. Hackleman was personable, friendly, professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and reassuring that they would take care of my current and future eye-care needs. I highly recommend this practice generally and Dr. Hackleman specifically to anyone searching for a new eyecare provider.

I had to leave Oconee Vision for 4 years due to insurance reasons which forced me to have other eye care. The experience of going somewhere else was very dissatisfying. I am so glad that my insurance was effective at Oconee Vision again due to needing to see. It was a great blessing for me and my husband to return to the friendly staff and Dr. Hackleman. Thank you all for a pleasant environment and great service. I have learned my lesson. . . I will never ever go anywhere else. Oconee Vision is my "go to" for the best Dr. in the business and great staff.
