America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

Victoria the assistant manager canceled my appt and was very rude over the phone about it. Every time I make an appt all of y'all's txts and calls go to my spam messages. If people go out of their ways to make appts then you should honor them and not be rude when they call to confirm after you have already canceled. Customer service is extremely lacking here or just nonexistent.

My husband and I's experience today at Americas Best Woodstock was great! Dr. Patel was very informative, Jazmin the sales associate helped us find the perfect glasses & the entire staff was just amazing. They all made the process quick & easy!

Very bad experience. When i came in to get my eye exam. They sold me on this so called deal that they had 2 100 pair of glasses with an eye exam. I said that's it 100? For my prescription out the door ? They said yes. So me and my girl sat there and spent about a hour+ picking out glasses . We took them up to the man and said these are the ones i like . So here we are about 2 hours into all this and he's totaling everything up . It came out to like $450+ i was like i thought they was 100? He said we'll see with your vision being bad you have to have these special lenses that are an additional $200. Just a huge was of time . Then they made me come back to do a follow up to come try out the contacts I've been wearing for 8 years as if something changed . So 3-4 hours of my life wasted at this place and i haven't even been able to order my contacts yet nor have gotten my prescription. I highly wouldn't recommend. . They have 0 respect for someone's time .

Absolutely love America's Best, Woodstock location. The staff were very professional and helpful. KJ helped me pick out glasses that looked great on me, he saved me so much time. KJ was very easy to talk to, very intelligent, he understood what I needed and gave me the information to make the correct choices for my glasses. Thank you KJ!!!!

They told me in order for me to receive my contacts, which my parents had already paid $130 for, I had to attend their contact class that they said, at the time, wouldn't be happening for 60 days. A few weeks later, we had picked up my glasses and I explained that I suffer from chronic health issues and have school, so I probably wouldn't have a chance to attend a class, and they told me I HAD to go to a class to get my contacts that we already paid for. The next class happened on a date where I got abdominal surgery, so I wasn't able to go. My mom has called, since then, numerous times to ask about future classes and they have told her each time there are none scheduled for the foreseeable future. My mom called again, today, and was told on the phone that for me to attend the next class, we would have to pay again for another appointment and a new contact prescription. Basically, the first $130 on the contacts was for nothing, since I never received them because I was unable to attend their sporadic classes due to medical circumstances. My parents have been customers here for a while and have spent thousands of dollars on America's Best. It's gross how inconsiderate the people and policies here are with no regard for people's medical situations. They need to have classes more frequently and not every couple of months.

Great experience at this store. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Cayla who helped me through the entire process. I never felt rushed or any pressure.

I know we living in a fast world but when dealing with the eyes and glasses ones should be patient. I arrive at 6:30pm and was informed they closed in 30 minutes. Why? I was given the laminated paper for single and bifocal lens. Got there today, it's something totally different. The young lady wanted me to teach for the 12 Coach frames. Told her I looked yesterday she stated I can look today. I told her I love with 8 screws in back and walking is limited. She said she was not bringing any Coach framess to the table for me.Then she offered me to pay out of pocket when I have $400 available to get new glasses. Moving right along. I want to purchase with whom want my business. That place is awful. People dont want to work anymore

I can now see why this location has so many bad reviews i should have listened . The story is to complicated to go into but the way i was treated by the manager Monica was the reason i would rate this a 0 stars if i could . I called to get an explanation about a contact order for my daughter. I tried to explain things and yes i was getting angry as she kept shutting me down. I guess she didnt want to deal with me and hung up on me. I called back and Monica would not answer the phone twice . Finally she answered i asked for manager and she said she was and then said have a good day hung up again. I even asked for her name and she said she already told me . Being in retail for 40 years in high management i would never hang up on a customer they need to deal with the situation so she made matters worse. I then called another Americas Best and asked some questions and Monica was totally wrong . I called to talk to district manager then called her the next day. My daughter had called in the meantime just to get information about her contacts since she would not talk to me. When I called the following day Monica told me my daughter told her she was embarrassed about my behavior and apologize on my behalf. My daughter is very honest she was standing right there when Monica said that to me she never said that to my daughter and I knew that. When you get my daughter involved about me as a parent and lie she made this 10 times worse . I still have not heard from district manager. Monica has no right to be a manager if this is how she deals with problems by hanging up on customers and lying . My daughter was livid but I told her not to call her that we would get nowhere . Monica is unprofessional and should not be in management . Dr. Patel was not any better. Make matters worse it's been over 2 weeks still not even a trial pair of contacts . So she has gone almost 3 weeks with no contacts we had to order her a cheap pair of glasses as she is a medical scribe and needs excellent eyesight to read and fill out charts . Monica has no business being a manager until she learns how to treat customers fairly. She made this situation 10 times worse by her handling on the situation . Do not go to this Woodstock location . I will not let this rest. I do not want anything free from this I want Monica to be dealt with .
