Great experience with Zehor. She is knowledgeable, focuses on a positive customer experience. They have a fair amount of frames to choose from.
Claudia is also helpful. They make a great team. Other staff is good yet these two staff members provide the type of customer service that is not readily found these days. Even when they're busy and wait time is long they acknowledge the customers that are arriving. They are apologetic for the wait. Hope management affirms them for their service.
In January 2025, I purchased two pairs of prescription glasses from the Sam's Club Optical Department in Woodstock, GA for nearly $1,000. Three weeks after my purchase, I received an invitation to return for an inspection and adjustment, which I completed without apparent issues.
About a month later, I noticed something concerning: the screws holding the lenses in the frames were mismatched--one black and one silver. When I inquired about this during my next visit to the store, staff assured me this was normal, explaining that manufacturers sometimes supply different colored screws. Though this explanation seemed questionable, I decided not to pursue the matter further as long as the glasses remained functional.
Unfortunately, three months later, while on a business trip in Houston, Texas, one lens suddenly popped out of its frame and fell. Upon inspection, I discovered the silver screw was completely missing, leaving me unable to drive safely at night and effectively stranded.
I was fortunate to locate a Sam's Club in Houston, where their optical staff diagnosed the problem. They determined that whoever had serviced my glasses at the original location had lost the black screw, attempted to replace it with an incompatible silver screw, and in the process damaged the frame's threading. This poor workmanship directly caused my lens to fall out.
The Houston location graciously agreed to replace the frames despite the warranty having expired. However, I am extremely disappointed that the Woodstock, GA Sam's Club Optical Department would engage in such shoddy repair work, putting both my safety and expensive eyewear at risk.
This experience reflects poorly on the professionalism and quality standards of the Woodstock, GA Sam's Club Optical Department.

I went to Sam's Club for my yearly eye check up and was completely happy with Dr. Nick Corneillie and his staff. Dr. Nick was informative, patient, attentive, and professional. I don't think I will go anywhere else again. Conveniently located in the Sam's Club and they got us in and out on time. The whole staff was very friendly and cooperative while helping us with insurance information issues. I was a very happy customer. 5 stars for Dr. Nick and his staff.
Upcharged me like crazy. I got sunglasses and she told me my total, she said "x amount with the protection plan." I said okay, that's steep can I take off the protection plan? She took it off and I kept trying to get unnecessary charges off that my insurance didn't cover. I asked about taking the polarization off because I personally don't like polarization, and it wasn't covered by insurance. She said oh no that's like the color of the lenses, the sunglasses will be clear if you don't get this. Bullcrap. I have gotten many pairs of sunglasses without polarization because I don't like it. Lady violated my wallet. What really solidified that I got upcharged was the receipt, "Sam's add on - 36$." Never coming back.
All in all I cannot recommend the current eye doctor at this location. I was seen quickly and she was polite. The only problem is I was given the wrong prescription. It's bad when I can see better without glasses than with the prescription I was given. Mistakes do happen, but as of right now I'm out over $750 because of this mistake. This includes the visit, the contacts, and glasses as I do not have eye insurance and all for nothing.
The store is pretty good but I have to give three stars because of the obnoxious amount of people trying to sell you things in there. You walk in and someone is trying to sell you shoe gels. Walk a little farther and someone is trying to get you to touch a pillow case. Go to the bakery and someone is trying to sell you knives. Go to the pharmacy and someone is trying to sell you face cream
We pay a fee to shop here. I just want to get my shopping done without being bothered.
Got glasses for $20. $10 eye exam, $10 for glasses. I've had them for a year now, and they're still in great shape. Nice being able to see.
Seen in short order, glasses ready as ordered in one week. Took care of insurance with no problems.
