Dr. Kokame got me back from blindness twice; he is the best in the islands; Because of the types of critical surgeries that must be performed by him, at times regular appointments may be delayed but that's because he is treating someone who likely has a true emergency; I would wait all day and the next if necessary. He is the best. Aloha and good luck with your vision.

Dr. Kokame was recommended to me by my retina specialist Dr. Dean Eliott at Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston. If your eyes are important to you, a 3 hour or even a 6 hour wait should not matter. If you want the best and you value your vision, wait time is not important. My vision has been restored three times with detached retinas in both eyes. Cataract surgery in both eyes and 20/20 in one eye. I've never had better vision my entire life @ 68 now and grateful for the expertise of Dr. Kokame and Dr. Dean Eliott.

I dont care what type of doctor you are, your patients should not be expected to spend 3 hours in your waiting room. A heads up when calling and making the appointment would have been nice. I'd give them NO STARS IF I COULD!

Excellent Dr, excellent and friendly staff but the wait time is just F N ridiculous. Not once I ever been here less then 3 hours. I think I need to switch, hopefully the grass IS greener somewhere else.
