Hawaii Vision Clinic - Aiea office

Beautiful clinic, very clean and very comfortable. Most importantly professional. The eye examinations conducted by Dr. Wong and his team were a breeze. I recommend Dr. Wong and his team if you need to see an optometrist to anyone residing or visiting Oahu Island. The Ophthalmologist he referred me to, Retina Consultants of Hawaii very professional to. Thank you for your service!

09-22-2023 This morning had a visit to Hawaii Vision Clinic at Aiea. We filled out all the forms except giving out a Social Security information. A staff came up to asked for an SS number and I had to tell her NO we can't give away or they shouldn't asked for the patients SS#. Per staff don't be surprised if you have bills mailed out to you! I'm like don't you check the insurance first if it's approved before you give a service? Does this people know that giving out your full SS # is very risky! I tried to explain myself but also per front desk Big lady by the door stood up was covering up her co-worker and made me looked like the bad person here! I didn't care about all the staff talking and laughing about me even i heard someone says a Phsyco word! She was like it's our protocol for billing. Such a bad service except for Dr. Wong! Never coming back to this place again. Please Be Careful!!! DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS!!!

My friend has done LASIK surgery at Hawaii Vision Center before so I decided to have a free consultation with them.. Once I submitted their online form, I got a call back and Robert left me a detail message including pricing. He said to go in for Aiea location. The day I went in, the office looked really cluttered and unorganized. I saw muliple personal items of the staffs just left around in the office... When I was doing the eye exam, I could not see well on one eye, was wondering why....then after a while I figured their machine lense was dirty, and I had to tell the Dr. it was the lense. I have never had that happen to me at an eye doctor before. The price I got over the phone was 4100 dollars for military dependent. My friend who was also a military dependent at the time paid 3800 for both eyes. I negotiated with the Dr. and he said he could do it for 3900. A month later, I got a bill for thier FREE consultation priced over $240. I was stunned because on the website it said free and even the day of the consultation, I made sure with the receptionist as well. (Matter fact I have never seen any eye doctor who does not do free consultation for lasik). I called the office to have the matter corrected numerous times and the lady who is in charge of billing never picked up her phone once so I left voice messages every time, yet has never called me back. I went on their website again and they clearly say free consultation. On top of that, now I found the price list for lasik and they quoated me higher price than what it is listed on their websited even after the negotiation. This business is a scam. I would never ever get anything done here if I were you. I totally believe the one star review someone else left about this Dr. office.

lost a years long patient. bad & lazy receptionist. Can't even send a text to confirm an appointment. there are tons of other eye doctors that are way more advanced. Save yourself the time, don't even call.

Terrible clinic. Unprofessional. Dealing with a duplicate bill. Went for one eye test that took 3 hours! Don't waste your time

Got a new vision receptionist Kelly and she is fabulous! Great customer service and she really cares for her customers needs. I will definitely ask for Kelly to service me again!

Been here multiple times for checkups and also for getting foreign debris out of my eye. Absolutely great service
