Island Eye Center: David Mai, M.D.

I was a possible new patient and was in need of getting my Stye cut out or removed after 2.5weeks. I was fortunate to get an appt due to a cancellation. When I met Dr David Mai I told him the situation of my Stye and my options of getting it removed. He immediately told me he no longer does it but can refer me to an Oculoplastic surgeon. Dr Mai on first impression was friendly & very comfortable to talk too. Due to he know longer doing those kinds of surgeries anymore he told me that he didn't want to waste my Insurance for just a referral and consultation. So he would just forgoe my visit and provided me the Oculoplastic surgeons Information. I was not only impressed but surprised of his honesty and his thoughtfulness of me spending money. I've never had to have an ophthalmologist before in my life, but I guarantee that if ever I do need one? He'd be the first person I'd call. His honesty is beyond any Dr I've come across and I've had many. Thank you Dr David Mai!
