I have been going here for at least 13 years with great satisfaction. I started going when they were used by the Oahu Veterans Affairs. I was very sorry the VA started sending their business somewhere on the Mainland, as the current VA supplier is not nearly as good. I feel so strongly about Optical Suppliers Inc. I have continued to go here and pay despite using the VA's current supplier for free. The first time I used the new VA supplier they were not able to get my glasses right, I went to Optical Suppliers and they fixed my glasses while I waited. Optical Suppliers is located in an industrial park in what looks like a warehouse, their "front room" customer service is tiny and plain, but Alva knows her business and has superior optical skills. I have a very strong prescription (more than +10 in both eyes and bifocals) and they have always made my glasses right, the first time. I was not aware of this, but their main business is the optical laboratory behind their tiny showroom where they make most of the lenses for other optical shops on Oahu, hence their location in an industrial park. Their showroom has a limited supply of frames as a courtesy for customers that go to them directly (but far more than the current VA showroom). I can not say enough good things about Optical Suppliers Inc. I have lived throughout the United States and in many foreign countries and they by far provide the best optical service and quality I have experienced, I am very grateful. Pat

If I could NEGATIVE 5 STARS- I ordered glasses through ophthalmologist with transition. OSI INC, forgot to put the transition in the lenses. So after waiting for 2 weeks I have to wait another week since they have to be returned to remake and replace the lenses. I have had a headache because I see blurry!!!!

This company has no clue what the word emergency is and treats all lenses the same, ridiculous service if I could give them negative stars it would be negative 5 stars.
