Dr Yuen and his staff are always on point. You can feel confident in Dr Yuens care for your eyes I have been seeing him for my eye care needs for years. With my diabetes, dry eyes, and cataracts, he addresses and has a plan for each of my needs. He thoroughly explains in a way I can understand, which I appreciate. On another note, he's always cheery and full of energy. His staff is great as well. I highly recommend him!!!

Dr Yuen did my pterigium surgery on both eyes. And now that both eyes are healed, my children commented they have never seen the white of my eyes so white! I guess it was always so red! I highly recommend Dr Yuen! And I am so please with what he did for me. Thank you Dr Yuen!!!

I love love love Dr Yuen! Why you ask? Because he improved my quality of life exponentially with cataract surgery and insertion of the Tecnis Symphony Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF) intraocular lens. I feel like I have a new set of eyes and it has been the most miraculous life changing event for me! I started wearing glasses when I was 10 years old. By age 59, my contact prescription elevated to -9.50 and combined with astigmatism, I could never really see perfectly clear. One day during the 6:00 news, a doctor reported that the Tecnis Symfony lens was recently approved by the FDA to treat cataracts and provide a full range of continuous high quality vision. In other words, patients could see clearly at near, intermediate, and long distances. I wrote down the doctor's name and did an online search. His name was Dr Carlton Yuen of Aloha Vision Consultants. On the following day, I made an appointment. Dr Yuen examined my eyes and approved me for the Tecnis Symfony lenses. I had the outpatient surgery at the Eye Surgery Center of Hawaii conveniently located in Iwilei near Costco. A month later, the same procedure was conducted on my other eye. The procedure was quick and painless. The day after each surgery, the change in my vision was unimaginable. Everything was crisp and clear and I could see the tiny green leaves on the trees at a far distance and read the paper without reading glasses. I had no eye pain or eye problems. The only aftercare was daily eye drops for a month or so. That was it. To me, Dr Yuen is a miracle worker! I am thankful to Dr Yuen for fulfilling my dream of a 20/20 vision. He is an exceptional doctor who treats his patients with respect, honesty, and compassion. Dr Yuen improved my quality of life and I am living my dream! Hands down, I highly recommend Dr Yuen!

Surgery went extremely well. Am very happy with the results...no need for glasses. Appreciate Dr. Carlton Yuen's knowledge and skills. Would recommend him to anyone needing cataract surgery.
