Staff was very welcoming. I enjoyed my visit with Dr. Makini. I really appreciated his explanation of our eyes and how it works and what my glasses will do for me. Dr Makini was very thorough with my eye examine. thank you and your staff. I will highly recommend your business.

Dr. Makini is very informative and explained things in a very interesting way. This is my daughter's second check up here, I wish I had transferred her here a lot earlier but we were previously stuck at another eye clinic that I was not satisfied with. Unfortunately we are moving to the mainland soon and when I mentioned that to Dr Makini, he scheduled for a complimentary follow up in two months to check on my daughter's eyes right before we leave. It was unexpected and I was very grateful he had done that. I wish to find another good clinic like this in our new location.

Never will I ever go to a retail optometrist again. I recently moved to Kapolei and needed to update my prescription -- but the problem? I had a new insurance provider. Enter Eyes Plus! I browsed their website (so easy to navigate) & requested an appointment at midnight --- I received a response the same morning once they opened at 7:31a. +1 for response time ! I was able to fill out my registration form as a new patient and verify my insurance all before my appointment, + booked me with Dr Teal. On the day of, while waiting there's a video that educates you on the practice's history amongst other things. I'm not going to spoil it for you -- I'm a parent of 2 & I will 10000% be scheduling an appointment for my children. I also want to mention the wonderful office aunties who took turns holding my 9mo old daughter during my appointment. This isn't your standard boring doctors office. The environment is so warm and it's not intimidating at all! Dr Teal is fabulous! He's friendly and efficient, my whole exam took about 10min. He's the only doctor to confirm my astigmatism. I always had an inkling but no one addressed it until today! He also noticed my lashes were literally poking my eyes so he plucked them & sent me off with eyedrops. This exam was the most thorough I have ever experienced. I'm excited for Eyes Plus to take care of my family.

Loved everything about my visit. I've never been to an Optometrist before. The first thing I noticed upon walking in was how pretty and cleaned it was. The staff was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. Everyone looked liked they wanted to be at work. Dr. Makini was very detailed with explaining notes from my eye exam. Jessica, Optometric Office Assistant picked up my fashion sense and knew exactly what I was looking for with the style of glasses I wanted to wear. So many great brands and selections to choose from. I ended up selecting a pair of Longchamp and look forward to receiving them in 2.5 weeks. I'm very happy with my visit and I feel the entire staff will take very good care of me in the future. Look forward to seeing clear again.

Excellent doctor with the critical thinking skills necessary to do truly efficient and quality care. He is incredibly thorough and synthesizes information to make informed evidence based conclusions as well as disseminate that information for multiple audiences. A gem to find, and the only office you'll ever need to visit for eye care on Oahu.

Dr. Makini and his crew of resident drs and front desk staff are amazing at Eyes Plus! I've been with them since I was in 1st grade and always treated me like ohana anytime I come in. Always welcoming, friendly, and great customer service! They also have a variety of products from glasses, accessories, etc. such a clean and comfortable facility! 10-10 recommend anyone who is looking for an eye clinic.

The staff is very professional and kind. The office is super clean and they have all the latest technology at their disposal. Doctor Makini is extremely knowledgeable and nice. Overall I had a great experience and I definitely recommend this place for all your eye needs!
