America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

The person who conducted my eye exam was great--very patient and kind. The doctor was also friendly and pleasant. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill when I was helped by the person assisting me with choosing my glasses. She was rude, seemed uninterested in helping, and made me feel rushed and unheard. I tried to be friendly and make small talk, but she wasn't receptive at all. I explained what I didn't like about my current glasses and was hoping for guidance, but I ended up having to figure everything out on my own. Whenever I asked about different color options for frames I liked, she would immediately say she knew for a fact they didn't come in other colors. When I asked for something black similar to a pair I found, her response was simply, "I'm not sure." At checkout, after I said I wanted basic 2 frames, she mentioned what the doctor recommended and the protection but didn't explain the cost, saying, "You just wanted the basic frame." Overall, it was a horrible experience, and I will not be returning. I'm honestly considering canceling my glasses order and going somewhere else. Edit: I did go back in and talk to the store manager. She was very apologetic, kind and understanding. I will stand with I won't go back.

I gotta be honest after reading somer eviews we were reluctant to go at first but we actually had a really good experience here! Everyone was very patient with us as we struggled through paper work and choosing glasses, and getting an extra eye exam. They stayed late for us as we chose glasses without rushing us which was incredibly kind. We would definitely come back!

Amazing love the staff is soo sweet Helene, was so Savy & her customer service skills where top notch I will be visiting this facility again. Dr. Wickes was so sweet funny and we all around enjoyed the visit. Highly recommended

Absolutely a nightmare! I spent 120$ for glasses that I can't even see. Every time I wear those glasses, my vision feels too heavy. Now, I have to go to another doctor to correct my measurements and spend more money.

The Ammon location is by far the best eyeglass store I have been to. The new management have been more than helpful with my questions and concerns. Dr. Taylor is very thorough and listened to all my concerns. The staff have been nothing but professional, curtious and attentive. They have made my visit one for the books! I will never go any place else! If you need your eyes checked, glasses or contacts go to the Ammon location. You will not be disappointed!!

The first time going to the location in Idaho Falls, I was not impressed the young lady that helped me was a little snobby and flat, the area was very dusty and no very clean. The other ladies were talking about things that should not be work appropriate. While I was there a women was trying to get her glasses fixed and they told her that her plan didn't cover what happened to her glasses, the one young lady that was helping her was "Sorry, we can't help you", saying it over and over. Just very rude I think they could of gave her some kind of discount since she spent so much on her glasses it was very sad. After I received my glasses I went back to get them fixed for a tint mix up, they told me I had to get me lenses that was more than what I bought my glasses for. It was so ridiculous I even asked if I could get a discount and the young lady without hesitation said no. I will not EVER go there again. I will drive to Pocatello to get better service and not get a snobby treatment. If you had a great experience great, but I didn't.

Worst glasses I have ever bought. I paid over 6 hundred dollars for my pair. All they did was up sell me on a product that isn't even as effective as the cheaper option. I have had to use my warranty and replace, just for them to do the same exact thing. I rinse my lenses with hot water, use the lense spray and cleaner and they still go bad. Both pairs were with in a year. I paid so that this would not happen and it's ten time worse than if I would have got the regular plastic lenses. Would not recommend.

Been going to America's best since I was 13 for glasses and contacts. Even during my military service they were extremely helpful and nice. The idaho falls location is full of SUPER nice people, and Dr. Taylor has been PERFECT for me and my kiddos. Highly recommend it for everyone
