Everyone was kind and thoughtful from the minute I stepped in until I left. Everything was explained to me thoroughly by each person I talked to ...from receptionist to Doctor.
I am new to the office since my husband and I just moved.. I have been really spoiled for the last 20 years by a very good eye doctor and his clinic. I can tell i have just landed in a very good place. Along with everyone being so kind, I found my examination to be one of the most thorough one I've ever had for a simple complaint.
I highly discourage this office! Our experience has completely eroded our confidence in their competence, accountability, and respect for patients' time and needs. We would not trust them going forward and strongly caution others to think twice before choosing this practice.
During a routine annual eye exam, a technician took my husband glasses to inspect them while initial scans were being completed. The glasses were returned to us in the exam room with deep symmetrical scratches down the center of both lenses, damage that was not present when we arrived. We immediately pointed this out to both the technician and the doctor.
At checkout, we asked a simple question: What is my husband supposed to do until we can come back to pick out and order news ones in the meantime? Initially, the office denied responsibility, but after the office manager spoke with the technician they did concede that the damage had occurred while the glasses were in their care. We were assured they wanted to make this right and the lenses would be replaced and that the process would take about a week. Which we appreciated.... However, that was almost a month ago now. Since then, we have followed every instruction given to us, shown up for each appointment they told us to, and waited, often more than an hour per visit, even with scheduled appointments! After the first delay, we were told the lenses had finally arrived but that we still needed to schedule an appointment to have them installed. When we came in for that appointment, we learned they had ordered the wrong lenses entirely, single-vision reading lenses instead of a direct replacement of his progressive lenses, making them unsafe and unusable for driving. They acknowledged their mistake and ordered another set. At yet another scheduled appointment, we were told that the lenses once again could not be installed because their "cutting machine made an error" and the lenses don't fit his frames. We were then told, yet again, to wait until next week.
Currently my husband still does not have the glasses he needs and is left to use the ones this office damaged. This was not a cosmetic issue or a minor inconvenience, these are medically necessary glasses that affect his ability to function safely and work comfortably day to day. We don't want them to give us some new fancy frames or make improvements on the old lenses, we have just asked for the simplest and quickest way to repair the ones that were damaged. Had we known what we do now, we would have simply ordered new glasses originally or taken the more updated RX to another provider and ordered them then. At every step, their mistakes have resulted in our time, energy, and patience being drained.
We have been understanding. We have been cooperative. We have jumped through every hoop asked of us. A almost a month later, we are no closer to a resolution, and being told to just wait again feels highly unacceptable. We are extremely disappointed and expected better from Dr. Bjorn and his staff.
Vision Technician Kaitlyn made me feel less anxious through the process of checking my vision. Her fun personality helped me to relax and be teachable. Larry was patient with me to help decide on a frame for my glasses and was flexible on a choice that had to be ordered to try in person so I can ultimately decide which frame will work best. Dr. Prien was very kind and informative. Thank you!
I have the BEST eye doctor! Dr. Bjorn is brilliant, compassionate and progressive in his approach. I went in really worried and left feeling confident about my vision. Emily was a sensational medical assistant . . so sweet, fun and efficient!
Very happy & satisfied with my eye exam With Dr. Bjorn. He did a great job in explaining my exam. Also With Larry in helping me choosing my frames & lens .He did a great job. I will highly recommend anyone to go to Vision One for their high level care of services they provide. And their staff so warm & friendly in general.
Eagle One made my glasses either the wrong prescription twice. The 2nd time was right before I was hospitalized for over 2 months for strokes and heart valve replacement. I was released 2/2025. I IHave some memory issues due to the strokes, I forgot about my prescription issue. I just went in for my overdue annual exam. They refused to correct my lenses to the proper rx due to it being over a year since I received it. (1 month past the 1 year mark) Due to my medical issues I thought they would make an exception, but they did not. My husband and I have been patients there for many years. We will not return. I will say that every Doctor I have seen was excellent!
Just had my first appt, it was amazing! All of the staff were so friendly and professional. Dr. Moss was very informative and thorough! Sarah was so helpful in the process of picking out frames and lenses. She made it fun, and gave me great feedback. I felt very taken of
Kaitlin and Dr. Bjorn did a fantastic job for me today. I have been super impressed with the service that we get at Eagle Vision One - 10 Mile Road in general, and via Dr. Bjorn regularly, and Kaitlin today. I recommend Eagle Vision One to anyone needing vision care!
