I had LASIK eye surgery done at this clinic and my vision is great! The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. Dr. Capps was very helpful and calming leading up to the procedure and has gone above and beyond post-op to make sure my eyes are taken care of. I would highly recommend Vision-Quest.

Vision Quest provides exceptional care. Had bilateral cataract surgery and from start to finish every aspect was first rate. Dr Bewley and Dr Reinschmidt are both very thorough and personable as is the office staff at the Meridian & Boise offices. Also, Dr Capps, the anesthesiologists, and nursing staff are awesome at the surgery center next door. I was in and out in two hours each time but most of all my vision is much better than anything I expected. If I could give more stars I would in a heartbeat.

I recently had LASIK surgery at Vision Quest Medical, and I can confidently say it has been a life-changing experience. Being legally blind before the procedure, I never imagined seeing the world so clearly--just three days post-op, and I feel amazing! Dr. Jacob Mong was my surgeon, and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor. He was incredibly supportive throughout the process and performed every step with such precision, especially during the detailed pre-surgery testing. His calm and reassuring presence made all the difference. James Bewley also played a huge role in my journey, checking my eyes both the day before and the day of the surgery. He was not only thorough but also very engaging and encouraging, which helped ease my nerves. A very special thank you to Desiree, who went above and beyond by staying late to complete my testing and dilation--even past her work hours. She was so kind and relatable, especially since she had undergone the same surgery herself. And of course, I owe a heartfelt thank you to Keri Jensen-Snyder for making this opportunity possible and for being by my side every step of the way. The entire leadership team, including Staci and Danika, was incredibly supportive and helped make this experience truly seamless and uplifting. For patients considering cataract surgery and lens replacement, I highly recommend Vision Quest medical center. This team of doctors and nurses are extremely professional as well as the front office staff. You can put your high anxiety away at having this surgery performed in their office. Dr. White, an acquaintance of mine, learned that I had injured my eye and strongly encouraged me to get it examined as soon as possible. I mentioned that I didn't currently have an eye doctor, and without hesitation -- on her own time -- she contacted the Meridian office for me. They immediately made room in their schedule that same day because of her concern for my injury. Dr. Bewly did an outstanding job evaluating my eye, explaining everything clearly, and getting me started on the treatment I needed. They even scheduled a follow-up appointment the very next day to make sure the injury was improving. My eye is already feeling much better and is on the road to recovery. I am incredibly grateful for how quickly the office got me in, especially last-minute, and for the excellent care throughout multiple follow-up visits. The entire team has been professional, caring, and efficient. I can confidently say I've found my new eye doctor.

I just found the most advanced laser eye surgery center in the country. It is not located in NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco or Chicago - it is located in Idaho. <3 In my quest to find the best provider for Lasik, I discovered Vision Quest. I am located in Oregon, but after discovering the technology that they have to offer, I was more than willing to fly out to them to get this procedure done. Vision Quest is one of the first in the nation to offer Wavelight+ (aka Wavelight Plus, or InnovEyes). It is an AI Guided Ray Tracing Lasik surgery that has FDA approved March 2025. This technology uses 'ray tracing' to create a 3d model of your eye that maps how light passes through your eye, and then it uses AI to simulate the surgery. This information is then used to program the laser to precisely correct your vision. When I say precisely, I mean Vision Quest was able to measure my exact prescription. My prescription wasn't a round number like -4.0 or -4.5 -- it was -4.38 sphere with a 1.08 cylinder. These are fractions I have never heard from any optometrist and you will not get this level of precision from any other eye doctor. Beyond finding your exact prescription, the ray tracing technology is able to correct and prevent high order aberrations which cause halos, glare, and starbursts which are common on regular lasik procedures. As someone with very large pupils, this was a major concern of mine. The surgery itself went very smoothly. They use a femto laser to precisely cut the corneal flap (not cut by hand). Instead of making you stand up and walk to the other laser like a lot of clinics do, they have a cool rotating table that moves you over to the other laser. Sweet! The second laser does the actual procedure which takes a less than 20 seconds for each eye. The surgeon, Dr. Capps, was very nice throughout the whole process and explained each step as she went along. The whole process was painless and I was already seeing more clearly at the end of it. I write this as I sit in Boise Airport - I am looking South West past the tarmac and can see the Owyhee Mountains. The mountains are super sharp and I can clearly make out the snow covered peaks. I can read all of the letters on the sides of the planes and I can read the menus at the food establishments from many feet away. Prior to my eye surgery, I had starbursts around every street lamp and headlight, which have disappeared after my surgery. With my vision being this good in under 24 hours, I can only imagine how crisp everything will be several weeks from now when everything settles. If your vision is important to you and you want the highest quality of care, then you need to check out Vision Quest Medical Center.
