Walmart Vision & Glasses

To be completely honest, I didn't expect much going in--but I was pleasantly surprised. The initial vision screening was fairly routine, complete with the familiar puff of air while focusing on the little red house. The technician was professional, friendly, and clearly explained each step of the process. It wasn't until I met Dr. Nemeh that my expectations were truly exceeded. He was personable, humorous, and clearly very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain not only what he was doing, but why, during each vision test. What stood out most was his precision and dedication to finding the absolute best clarity for my eyesight. Rather than accepting vague responses like "they look the same" or "the second one might be a little better," he asked thoughtful follow-up questions, pushed for clear distinctions, and retested repeatedly until I was confident I was seeing at my best. Thanks to his thoroughness, he discovered that my prescription had changed significantly since my last visit. I was genuinely shocked by how clearly I could see after all his fine-tuning. Choosing frames ended up being the most enjoyable part of my visit. Amanda and Amy assisted me, taking the time to truly listen to my needs before suggesting and trying on several different frame styles. They were genuinely dedicated to helping me find the perfect pair and never once tried to "sell" me or push me in any direction. The experience felt less like shopping and more like spending time with sisters who had my best interests at heart.

I've been going here for many years. I only like having Jayne take care of me. She is so knowledgeable and professional. I seen Dr Nemeh and I really like him. He is patient and wants you to be comfortable with your prescription before you leave. I was not rushed. Very satisfied.

My son and I had our first appointments today at the Antioch Walmart Vision Center. I can't even put into words how wonderful our experience was. Our tech was great and had the patience of a saint. With Dr. Nemeh, I didn't feel rushed and all of my concerns were addressed. I've never had such a thorough examination ever. I will be coming here every year for my annual eye exam.

I am very pleased with Dr.Nemeh and Lisa, they were wonderful and super patient with my son that has ADHD. Definitely a place I would recommend!! The rest of the staff is also very nice.

This week I attended a comprehensive eye exam at Walmart Optical in Antioch IL. I was surprised at how much time and how thorough the exam was. O.D John Nemeh, was highly professional, explaining all procedures and answering my numerous questions. In addition, he offered different opinions and recommended what he thought would be best for me. I also found the staff to be kind and very knowledgeable.

DR John G. Nemeh is a great eye dr. He spends quality time and cares about his actual patients. He makes sure that tests are done right even when his staff doesn't do the greatest job he'll do it himself. He makes sure you can see and gives you different variation options. Honestly the value and practice of having a dr like this is unmeasurable. Will be referring him to family and friends!

I made an appointment with ease. Staff is amazing. Dr. Nemeh is new to the walmart Antioch dental but not new as a opthomologist. He is so experienced and offers so many suggestions for contacts. The amount of time he spent with me was incredible. Dr . Nemeh made sure I had the best vision when I left the office. I highly recommend Dr. Nemeh for your vision needs.

Called to make my appointment, found that there were a good deal of openings. I didn't have my insurance info at the time and i said I'd call back; ended up forgetting but they called me and I was able to provide it then. I was very nervous going in with covid but was very put at ease with their cleaning, sanitizing, distancing, new pens, and temp checks. I was also very happy with Dr yang (?). She was amazing. Seemed to be very thorough and knowledgeable. She told me what the lines on my contacts are after wearing contacts for years. I didn't find any frames that i cared for but someone cleaned each pair before i tried them on which i fully appreciated.
