In March 2025, I experienced severe itching and tearing in my eyes. I scheduled an appointment at the clinic, paid for the consultation, and was consulted by Dr. Schultz. She examined both eyes using a magnifying glass, prescribed allergy treatment, and recommended a new appointment after six months. A few hours later, I received a call informing me that I owed an additional $50 for the gonioschopy. I paid the amount and canceled my appointment in September due to dissatisfaction with the services received. A few weeks later, I received a letter stating that I had a "narrow angle" and it requires monitoring. This letter, which I believe constitutes a violation of legal standards, instilled a profound sense of anxiety in me. Consequently, I rescheduled a consultation, paying $225. I underwent various tests and subsequently scheduled another appointment after another six months. During this appointment, I was informed that I needed to visit sooner than the six-month mark due to concerns raised by Dr. Schultz regarding potential eye issues. I requested the results of all the tests conducted and a diagnosis, as I was unable to comprehend the situation. I received an email stating that I was being monitored for angle-closure glaucoma, open-angle glaucoma, and cataracts. However, the tests did not provide any indication of the degree of risk or damage to the optic nerve. After two days, I visited Dr. Schultz and paid $125, expressing my indignation. She informed me that my age indicated a risk factor and that I did not require these results. She subsequently performed two additional tests and verbally reassured me that I was fine, with monitoring scheduled for another six months. Two weeks later, I received a statement for $175 without any recommendation, treatment, or risky medication for angle-closure glaucoma. I believe that Dr. Schultz was subjected to harassment and over diagnosis, which caused me significant psychological discomfort and anxiety.

I've been Dr. Badawi's patient for over 20 years. He is consistently kind, understanding and professional. I know that I'm always in good hands with Dr. Badawi and his very competent staff.
