Suburban Associates in Ophthalmology

I have been a patient at Suburban Associates in Ophthalmology for several years, specifically Dr. Shah's patient. The practice is competent, helpful, and supportive. Procedures are explained thoroughly and time is taken to be sure the patient understands. I strongly recommend this practice.

I've had a frustrating experience just trying to get an appointment. I called to schedule an appointment for my daughter and used the "call back" option twice, but after three days I still never received a call back. When I tried calling again, it went straight to voicemail. It makes you wonder when or how you're actually supposed to get an appointment. I'm also already aware that pediatric appointments tend to be scheduled months out, which makes the lack of communication even more discouraging. I'm sure the doctors themselves may be great, but the front-end scheduling and responsiveness really need improvement. At this point, it feels like it may be time to look for a practice that is more accessible and responsive to patients who are trying to get care.

Have been a patient of Dr Piotrowski for many years and completely satisfied. Even more important, when I have had emergency situations, I have been helped by other doctors immediately. This is important yo me. Your service has been exceptional.

My call to make the appointment was quick and seamless. When I arrived the front desk staff handled everything, making my first visit easy and quick. Friendly and very competent front desk staff. The people that took information and did testing were friendly and yet still professional. Dr. Shah was very thorough and made me feel at ease. She explained the procedures done, assuring me that my vision is stable and then, as suggested, I made an appointment for one year forward. Dr. Shah told me not to hesitate to contact her if there were any changes in my vision or any other related problems. Entire staff was great.

Dr. Yeung really has a great bedside manner. Really listens and helps you understand your ailment. Gives great medical advice and options. I am very glad to have found him. Great job doctor. Keep up the great job.

They were very accommodating to my scheduling. Dr. Kim was very thorough and gave me an understanding of what I might expect in the coming year. She told me if I have any issues to call. The receptionist was polite and friendly.

Dr. Shah is wonderful. She is very thorough, and I do not feel rushed as she answers all my questions. I have been to the Schaumburg and Arlington offices, and the staff at both is superb. I would highly recommend Dr. Shah and Suburban Associates.

From the receptionist to the nurses, everyone at this clinic is professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. The office is clean and well-managed, and I always feel valued as a patient.
