Sorry for taking so long to write the review Guys! Coming back to write this a year later.
The manager Gaylord and other employees were very direct and helped me maximize the different ways I could work my insurance into saving the most money.
The vision appointment was nice and the eye doctor is very friendly and professional.
Checked out other stores in AH and most places have higher prices and middling service. Really grateful for them helping me manage what my insurance was capable of and what I should do, they went as far as writing down different options on a blank piece of paper for me to take home, I stayed and talked for well over an hour just figuring stuff out.
They make you feel like family.

I was greeted with a smile and acknowledged when checking in. Short wait time to see the optometrist. Once in consult with optometrist, he took the time to listen to me about my vision changes, figured out and provided ways we can possibly improve it, trial periods, to achieve the best results. I can't say enough about the service I received from both Bushra and her manager, Gaylord. Both took their time ensuring I had the right glasses for my face and also found I got a better deal using the store special than insurance.
In addition my old glasses were completely broke. They need to last me long enough til get my new glasses. Gaylord miraculously made a temporary fix so I can see and not put people's lives in jeapordy when driving.
Bushra is an asset to this store. Gaylord is a superb manager.

The doctor at Arlington Heights Vision Works did a complete exam and then recommended I hold off on ordering new glasses until I visited an ophthalmologist to see if I needed cataract surgery. He recommended I order a revised prescription for glasses after surgery. That way, the glasses would be covered by insurance. Insurance will not cover ordering two different prescription glasses. He also was open with me and said the prescription he could order for me prior to cataract surgery would not pass the vision test given at the DMV. He wrote up a referral for me and explained the procedure completely and was easily understood. The doctor far exceeded my expectations. I have never received such informative and thorough customer service from any doctor in any medical field.
