I was very pleased with my experience at LensCrafters Fox Valley Mall. Everyone at this location was extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The frame selection was good. The eye doctor was very good. And Aaron, who assisted me with the measuring, insurance, and payment, went above and beyond in his helpfulness and friendliness. I picked up my glasses in one week and I'm completely happy with the frame I chose and the lenses work perfectly. I would definitely recommend this LensCrafters location.
I brought in my Lenscrafters Dolce and Gabbana progressives to be adjusted and the technician broke them. He then tried to blame it on me, saying I sat on them. I have never sat on my eyeglasses. In fact, I recently donated all my old glasses and I had beautifully intact frames dating back to the 1980's. I've worn glasses for 55+ years and I very much need them to be able to see, so I always treat my eyeglasses like fine jewelry. They're very expensive progressive lenses that cost around $900+ purchased from Lenscrafters in Wheaton. The Fox Valley store mgr offered me zero solutions other than to tell me I have to purchase another pair of glasses and get an eye exam. I've gone to Lenscrafters for over 20 years (Oakbrook & Wheaton). These same frames are available online, but they did not want to be bothered with ordering them. I don't know when an employee can break your glasses, and then, it's on the customer to re-purchase the eyeglasses. I'd avoid this location, personally. I'm going back to Wheaton.

My initial visit for a new eye exam and prescription was overall positive. The exam itself went smoothly, and all of the doctors and staff involved in that portion were professional and pleasant. The associate who assisted me with selecting and applying my new prescription was very kind, though she seemed a bit disorganized, particularly when it came to my Ray-Bans. I ended up sitting there for over an hour while things were sorted out, which wasn't ideal but ultimately not a major issue.
Unfortunately, my experience when returning to pick up my glasses was disappointing. When I arrived, the staff at the counter were friendly and asked me to sit at one of the long tables to wait. I did so and waited approximately 10-15 minutes. During that time, another customer arrived, was also asked to sit, and was assisted almost immediately, within a minute, despite me having been there first. While it's possible she had an appointment, it didn't appear to be the case.
What stood out most was the clear difference in the level of service. That customer received thorough, attentive care: she was encouraged to check her phone, read at different distances, and ensure she was completely satisfied with her glasses. In contrast, when I was finally helped, I was simply handed my glasses and told to try them on, no guidance, no follow-up, no effort to ensure they were working properly.
When the other customer left, she was warmly thanked and sent off with smiles and friendly goodbyes. When I left shortly afterward, there was no acknowledgment at all, despite the staff noticing me leave and the store not being busy.
If certain patrons are being prioritized or treated more attentively than others, whether intentionally or not, that's something that needs to be addressed. Consistency and fairness in customer service are essential, and this experience fell short of that expectation.
And don't even think about responding with the same obtuse response you respond to all poor reviews and send me to a stupid website.
Currently working out of state and broke my glasses while at work, I tried 2 different eye care places looking for replacement oakley frames, even tried the oakley vault and no luck. Called this lenscrafters and the lady i spoke with was super helpful in helping me find my frames, luckily they had the correct ones. They got me back to being able to see to drive home and the lady that helped me was more than professional and sweet! 100% recommend!
This is my first time getting my prescription glasses at Lenscrafters and I had a great experience. They have many options to choose from , the staff is very helpful and provide great suggestions and most importantly they are extremely helpful in making sure the glasses fit you well. Getting adjusted to a new pair of glasses is really difficult for me and the lovely Melanie was a great help on this front. It is usually difficult for me to explain why the glasses are uncomfortable but Melanie with her experience was able to examine the fit closely and make numerous adjustments with care and patience. I am truly appreciative of this kind of service!
I had a great experience at LensCrafters. The service was friendly and efficient, and Diana, the manager, really stood out. She was knowledgeable, patient, and made sure everything went smoothly. If you want quality eyewear and excellent customer care, this is the place to go!
LensCrafters Fox Valley was amazing. Kristina was a great sales representative and I enjoyed working with her. She was cheerful, pleasant and knowledgeable, and she attended to my needs with skill and professionalism.
This place has no business running a eye care center. The doctors are very nice. But the way they run their appointments is so disjointed. A group of kindergartners would do a better job at being efficient.
We were first told the doctor we assigned you to, went for lunch. Why take appointments when lunches are happening. We wait and wait and wait and then ask okay what's the name of the doctor please. They then say it's automatically assigned based on who is available. Completely contradicting what was just said. We were then told we were next in line. We again waited 15 minutes., and finally left canceling the appointment.
