American Vision Center: Jay Tallis, OD

I have seen Dr Tallis since I was about 10 years old. Now in my 40s with a 6-year-old I am so grateful that my son gets to experience Dr Tallis as his eye doctor. I always get the greatest care at his office. He is just so nice and kind! He explains everything in layman's terms, so it's great to be able to understand what's going on with our vision. I couldn't recommend Dr Tallis and American Vision Center enough!

I recently went in to receive an eye exam, and was very impressed with Dr. Tallis and his staff. I really appreciated how Dr. Tallis took the time to de-bunk prior thoughts I had about my contacts from my prior provider. Additionally, I will sometimes still wear a mask, as I have individuals in my life who have a very weak immune system, and it truly meant a lot that Dr. Tallis put a mask on for me. I felt very respected, accommodated, and that the staff truly wanted to help with all my questions & concerns! In the current work environment it can become very easy to become jaded by either short staffing or other concerns, and I appreciate the positive attitudes of the individuals I worked with. Additionally, the small business atmosphere really helped facilitate my enjoyment, as 'Box-Stores' don't seem to provide the same care. Thank you staff!

Dr. Tallis and his staff are very friendly and helpful. They do a great job accommodating schedules. Dr. Tallis is very knowledgeable and explains things so it's easy to understand, as my prescription didn't change he explained things that could help maintain that. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend American Vision Center and Dr Tallis.

Been with him since I was a child and he and his wife have done so much. Always made sure I was happy with the glasses i choose and worked for me. Will miss your location Dr. Tallis have a happy retirement you and your location will be missed.

Amazing doctor! He's so friendly, and always starts and ends each visit with a firm handshake! I love it! Dr. Tallis is very thorough, and I've never felt rushed during a visit. Overall, he's just an awesome eye doctor! I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.

Great staff. Doctor Tallis has a fun personality and sense of humor and made me feel immediately at ease. I'm a new patient and, maybe it's a normal thing, but I've never been to an eye doctor who made recommendations on what style/shape of glasses would best fit my face. I really appreciated that feedback and help in choosing my new frames. I think I found my new, permanent doctor's office!

Dr. Tallis communicates very well about eye issues and how to address them. After visiting them for many years, I have been pleased with the staff. Also, there are lots of frames to choose, which is good since I prefer glasses to contacts.

I haven't seen an eye doctor in at least 6 years. I'm new in town. Dr. Tallis was patient and very thorough. He explained each step and the results of my exam. Also, the staff was polite and very patient with me as I took my time picking out new glasses. The lady worked very hard to make sure I had all the discounts and benefits to cut my cost. I would definitely go back.
