It took a very long time to get my son's glasses, about 5 weeks. It led to some frustration on my part because after the diagnosis, I started to notice how my son would bump into things and had a very hard time reading and kept messing up on sight words I already thought he knew. However, he was memorizing the order of them and not the actual words and letters. The doctor found that my son needed a very strong Rx. My husband & I never had vision problems so I had no idea anything was wrong until it was uncovered. The doctor helped explain what changes can be expected & timelines for contacts, etc. Thanks for your help in this huge change in my sons life.

The work days can be quite unpredictable, but at the end of the day, you can rest easy with the satisfaction of helping out those who couldn't otherwise afford vision services. This is a great starting place for those interested in going into the field of optometry.

Staff seemed to be irritated/annoyed with the youth appointments. It made me uncomfortable with the service. I likely would use a different office because of that. Workspace seemed clean. Office was quiet.

Great place to take your kids to get their eyes checked. They are partnered with Chicago Public Schools.

Great service and informative friendly staff. Tricky to find and parking in blg closes at 6 and not suitable for large vehicles so park across the street at the lot off 18th and Stewart.
