America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I've been coming to this locations for some years now. In general, staff is friendly and the optometrist is attentive and listens to your needs. I came in person today to inquire about an order and Jazmine at the front desk was extremely condescending. She asked me for my last name and I spelled it out for her because it's not a common last name and the Z often a gets switched with S. In a very degrading tone , she told me she didn't ask me for the spelling, that she only asked for a last name. Prior to this, I had to repeat myself like 3 times for the reason for my visit and had to repeat myself because she was not being attentive and immediately had an attitude and poor customer service. I stopped my interaction with her and moved on with a different employee who was super helpful. The items I'm purchasing here are not free, so why does she think this behavior is acceptable? Customer service training will be helpful for Jazmine as she is not great at it.

Hey AB! I had an appointment with another eye company. I got to my appointment the receptionist was extremely cold ( never made eye contact), she just asked for my insurance. It turns this company does not take my insurance. The receptionist was very sharp "we don't take your insurance" so I went to my car and made an appointment with America's Best , they made and appointment for me the same day. When I got to the office,, they were expecting me!! The service was so pleasant and professional!! I was in and out in about an hour! Thanks to everyone at the America's Best on West 47th St Chicago! I am not sure of the women's name that answered around 1:20 on 11/26/25 but I was trying to ask her if my contact prescriptions were in store to pick up and she was just very rude and would not listen, she just kept telling me my order was not in. When I was not asking for an order, I was trying to see if they were in stock to pick up. And the young lady was just assuming I had an order and would not listen I what I was asking. Just rude and unprofessional.

Second pair of glasses broken within one year. First pair they just stopped carrying and this one is a nice pair of Adidas where the lense started falling out with a few weeks. It would be fine if this were my fault but before this place I only have ever replaced glasses due to prescription the Adidas ones are legit 2 months old and have expensive lenses in them.

I have been coming to this location for several years and the customer service is excellent. The doctor was very knowledgeable and friendly I appreciate the attention to detail and experience.

Brashinda is literally the best!!! I walked in at 9 am and I was greeted right away. She tended to me promptly and handled my issue. I was so distraught thinking I would be hardly seeing going on my birthday trip this week...to Puerto Rico!!!!! Nope not on her watch, thank you so much for getting me sharp for birthday trip. I will definitely bring you a souvenir Sugar.....she is absolutely the BEST!!!!

I ordered contacts and paid for fast shipping. They never shipped out my order on time. took more than a month to receive my contacts. Staff never contacts the customer when product arrives to their store for pick up.

Amazing Visit, Staff was nice, Friendly, very clean office, I was kinda nervous but the friendliness an the knowledge the staff had made me feel more comfortable, during the exam they talk to me an afterward as well the Dr Steven was very knowledgeable of my symptoms. an referral me to get my diabetes look into by my Primary doctor first an welcome to come back after I get my blood sugar under control Very knowledgeable Man for his Professional.
