I was dreadfully overdue for updated exam and new lenses and this location, on Lincoln Ave in Chicago, got me in within an hour of my phone call. They were thorough in explaining my Insurance benefits coverage to me and Jose was especially kind. He even took extra time to help me select the best lenses within my budget and made me feel at ease and excited about my new glasses. Thanks to the great team at America's Best.

This used to be my go-to spot Because after my last visit, I can confidently say I will never step foot in this location again. I went in to pick up my glasses and asked some very basic questions -- like which pair had blue light protection, which lenses were anti-reflective, and if the lenses I paid extra for (the thinner ones) were actually what I got. Not a single person there could give me a straight answer. The lenses looked like regular, bulky ones -- nothing "thin" about them. When I asked, the staff basically shrugged and told me, "We don't know, we just work as receptionists." Excuse me? You sell glasses all day long and can't answer anything about them? The one optician on duty seemed to kind of know what he was talking about, but not enough to give me any confidence that my $400 order wasn't botched. At that price, I at least expect a little professionalism and reassurance that I'm getting what I paid for. Instead, what I got was a group of employees who looked absolutely miserable to be there, more interested in yapping with each other than helping actual customers. Honestly, the whole experience made me feel like I was bothering them by daring to ask questions about my own order. If you're going to take people's money for specialized products, the least you can do is train your staff to know what they're selling.

Helpful and expedient when I've come, especially informative regarding my history of purchases. Timely with updating me of new glasses arriving and that my frames had a warranty. Super nice staff.

I went in on a Sunday for an eye exam, and the entire experience was great from start to finish. The doctor and their assistant were professional, courteous, and right on time for my appointment. The highlight of my visit, though, was Rosa, the staff member who helped me after I selected my frames. She was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure I got the most out of my insurance benefits. I highly recommend getting your eye exam and picking out frames here. The service is top-notch, and the staff truly cares about helping you.

At this location, the associate (Syed) made sure I was accommodated for and answered all my questions. Excellent customer service and from previous visits, I've always had great experiences with the staff and the services provided.
