I highly recommend Big City Optical! I had a great experience!! Edwin was fantastic in helping me find the perfect new frames.They offer many designer brands including Chloe, Gucci, YSL and many others. I hate change, but my old frames are on their last leg and my RX needed an update, too. They accept your HSA/FSA and also Care Credit. Ask for Edwin!! He was amazing.

Today I visited Big City Optical in Bucktown with the intention of getting new frames with a new prescription for lenses; the stunning inventory was the only drawback I had encountered while at this location. I had the pleasant chance of meeting Ieasha who had been more than patient with me while I was trying to make a decision. Not once did she try to upsell me which is incredibly rare amongst salespeople. Long story short, her honesty helped me make the decision to replace my prescription and keep my present frames. I left the store feeling truly cared for in the most personalized, custom made manner of customer service. I highly recommend this store for its stunning inventory and Ieasha for her honesty, patience, as well as high quality of character. She is a first rate class act.

I had an amazing experience at this Bucktown location, and it was all thanks to Ieasha. In the past, the associates at the other stores seemed pretty indifferent, but Ieasha went above and beyond with her customer service and eyewear expertise. She took the time to really help me find the right glasses and explained things so clearly--turns out I'd basically been walking around looking cross-eyed all these years . Huge shoutout to Ieasha for genuinely caring and making this such a great experience!

Nice doctors, no complaints with my exam, but I had major issues with ordering contact lenses. I originally placed a contact lens order over five months ago and have not been able to get my full order, just samples. I'd see the doctor again here but would not bother trying to buy glasses or contacts ever again.

Excellent customer service: friendly, relaxed, good guides, informed specialists. Eric Murphy helped me pick out these frames, and he adjusted my sister's progressive lenses so she can read more comfortably now! He was funny and enthusiastic, he organized things and clearly communicated the various elements of the process. Great manager - and talented specialist. He was explaining to me that they are unique as they are among the first places that has these new machines - impressive technology! Saw a picture of my eyeball & the cloudy area that indicates that I see color very well! Which is something I knew as I have used it in my 20+ year career in the visual arts!

My glasses are not even close to a correct Rx and they charged over 300 dollars for frames (before lenses) that are online for just over 100 dollars. Skaga frames are not 350 dollar frames but I did not know that when I went in w great insurance and was charged over 700 dollars out of pocket.
