11/10 for the Doctor on sight, so fun, warm, efficient, and thorough! Had a great conversation about my eye health and she navigated all my questions with precision. However, the agent at the desk (I'm so sorry, I don't remember her name) was a little condescending with myself and another patient. I think she's great at her job, so don't take it the wrong way, but I didn't appreciate the fact that the team added on a bunch of optional features to my prescription that I did not ask for and then present the final bill as if that's the actual total. Like I get it, it's a rough economy, but transparency builds way more trust that sneaking in features and fees. Again, LOVE this doctor, just wish the final transaction was smoother.

I had an amazing experience here! Dr. Ameiche did an incredible job with my eyes and made me feel taken care of throughout the whole process. Gabby was so patient and supportive while teaching me how to use contacts. We practiced together and she made something intimidating feel easy. Ari was kind, efficient, and a joy to interact with. And Marguerite went above and beyond to help me find glasses I absolutely love. Such a great team, I genuinely felt cared for from start to finish. Highly recommend this office!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Big City Optical. I had just arrived in the city for a 3-day work conference when one of the nose pad on my glasses broke, leaving them unwearable. In a bit of a panic, I rushed over and found they were just locking the doors for the night. I knocked and waited for a second. The three wonderful ladies that were getting ready to close the shop didn't hesitate to unlock the door and help me, even though they were already off the clock. I explained my situation, and without a moment's hesitation, they welcomed me in. They took a few minutes of their own personal time to expertly fix my glasses. Their kindness and willingness to help a complete stranger after a long day of work was truly remarkable. They were professional, efficient, incredibly kind, and fixed my nose pads perfectly. This is the gold standard of customer care. You saved my trip and my eyes! Thank you! What impressed me most was their generosity because they refused any payment for their time and effort. It's rare to find a business so dedicated to helping someone in need. I highly recommend this place.

Came into Big City Optical for a new prescription and glasses. Ariana was delightful in confirming the appointment and guiding us through the process including measurements and photographic scans. Dr. Ameiche is the real deal! She spent a great deal of time and was extremely thorough. Ariana and Dr. Ameiche then worked with me to dial in a wonderful set of frames. A wonderful experience all-around working with these two fine women.
