I had the most unfortunate experience here that I've ever had at a Doctor's office... and I didn't even get to see the doctor. I was referred here by my PCP, called to make my appointment almost a month prior to my appointment date. I arrived early for my 1:30pm appointment and was able to complete my new patient paper work before my scheduled appointment time. After waiting 75 minutes(so now it's 2:45pm), I asked the very nice lady at the front desk if she knew how much longer it might be. she apologized and checked... she then says there were still 5 patients ahead of me, back in waiting rooms, waiting to be seen by the doctor. Another patient who had been waiting an hour voiced her concerns as well and a gentleman from the doctor's office poked his head out from a back area and almost sarcastically said "well, we only have one doctor" as if it was our fault for having the audacity to schedule an appointment that they accepted. I understand sometimes things happen outside of your control, but whoever is managing the scheduling here needs a reality check. This was the most disrespectful waste of people's time I've ever experienced during a scheduled appointment.

Dr. Menner, Jon, and Andres are incredible. My condition sometimes requires emergency appointments, and their team always figures out how to fit me in & care for me. I truly feel supported & valued by them.

Dr. Menner is a superb doctor. I've seen her for years, she literally saved my eyesight.

I liked the doctor very much. The staff is friendly. My issue is their communication. They didn't call back with test results and didn't respond even if I called and requested a return call. This happened several times.

They intentionally overbook their appointments. You can expect to sit and wait a minimum of 2 hours before the doctor sees you. They have zero regard for their patience most valuable asset...time. What good is a noon appointment if I don't see the doctor until 2:00?

I have been going to Dr. Menner for over two years. She is excellent. Her staff is very professional and friendly. My eye condition has greatly improved. I highly recommend Dr Menner at Chicago Retina.

My appointment was at 2pm on a Monday so I got there early around 1:45 to take care of any paperwork and sign in as a new patient. After they charged me and I waited about 45 minutes, I decided to ask the people around me when their appointment was. One said 1pm, another 12:30pm...another 12:15pm. I asked the receptionist how long the wait would be and she said it could be another two hours or more. She claimed this was "normal" for this doctor. This can be a 2-4+ hours wait to see a specialist. Wasn't worth it to me. Even if I waited it out, it wouldn't be a place I'd want to keep going back to. Awful patient regard.

Very clean, wonderful helpful staff! The doctor was very quick and efficient, went through my procedure throughly to where I can understand what was happening. I will definitely be returning again.
