Dr. Kelly Scherer

Dr. Scherer is among if not the most attentive, patient, and helpful eye care professionals I've ever had... and I've had many. The Chicago Lighthouse has however, at times, had some frustrating scheduling patterns that make it quite difficult to plan a visit during a work day. I've arrived early, as requested, and waited well past my scheduled appointment for several doctors. This is in no way reflected poorly on the service offered by Dr. Scherer though and, if the cost of such thorough care is a potential extra wait in the waiting room, it's well worth it.

My daughter's appointment was for 2:45. The office called and asked her to come in one hour earlier. We waited at the office for two hours (one hour past the original appointment time) and still have not seen the doctor. Unacceptable.
