Dr. Mary Szatkowski-Pritikin, MD

In 2024 I was referred to Dr. Szatkowski Prikin because of a red area on my lower eyelid that lost it's eyelashes. Within a week of my first appointment I had surgery to remove and then biopsy the tissue. She was able to remove all the problem cells and it was a localized cancer. About 10 days later I then had reconstructive surgery for the eyelid. She did excellent work with both surgeries.

Excellent experience with eyelid surgery for ptosis and an upper bleph, plus a brow lift. Would highly recommend Dr. Mary's services. Her office staff is amazing, welcoming and warm. I can't wait to engage with their office more for some other cosmetic procedures. It is also great to be able to get your eyes exam done as well!

For almost 30 years dr. Mary is my eye doctor and she is simply THE BEST. Before her no one could diagnose what's wrong with my eyes, no one could proscribe the right lenses for me but Mary did it after first visit and since then she is taking excellent care of me and my eyesight. Made an appointment via Zocdoc with Dr Totten for an annual eye exam and complained about chronic dry eyes. Dr Totten, who was very professional and pleasant, then recommend I speak with Dr Mary. I was a little apprehensive about speaking Dr. Mary since i wasn't expecting to be at a cosmetic surgeon's office to begin with. Anyways, I found Dr Mary very professional as well, and the punctal plugs she placed in my eyes have helped with my dry eyes tremendously! I'm also Asian (and a Chinese one at that) but I did not experience any racially offensive remarks which a previous poster unfortunately mentioned she encountered, which is much appreciated!

Was not sure the best way to write my review so I figured multiple would be best. I had ptosis surgery in July and could not be happier with my results. She was patient with me and took the time to talk with me and answer all questions before. The surgery and recovery was much easier than I expected and I am extremely happy with my eyes. Wonderful caring doctor and staff. Dr S addressed a huge stye and eye infection like no other ophthalmologist could or would. An office procedure, care and follow-up were exactly what was needed. Questions and follow up were like no other doctor.

I came here recommended by a friend. Dr. Mary is absolutely the best. I can't say enough good things about her. She is super honest, straight to the point and knows her stuff. There is no rushing patients in and out and they really take the time to make sure you're taken care of. The office and space is beautiful and everyone is very friendly.
