It's actually crazy that they REQUIRE you to do retinal imaging, which is an add-on service of an additional $50. I used to be an optometric technician and I am fully aware that retinal imaging is not necessary or required for preventative care, hence why insurance does not cover it. Upon informing them that I did not wish to consent to the retinal imaging or pay the additional cost, they abruptly cancelled my appointment without reaching back out to me directly at all. Terrible customer service.
