Update, I woke up this morning and my eyes are worse, I can barely read this. Appointment running late. Lobby is super bright with fluorescent lighting. No water in the lobby. Reception ladies are very nice! The technician didn't tell me what to expect, and now leaving the office my eyes are currently blurry. Nothing was explained to me I feel like I should go back and ask them the questions I have now. Like why my right eye is failing? The biggest thing missing was there were no words of encouragement. UPDATE: the doctor was very rough on my eyes.

Dr. Brewer provides thorough eye exams. She is patient, friendly and kind. I have fairly complex eyes...congenital cataracts, astigmatism, dry eyes etc, and she understands all of what's going on. I would give 5 stars to her service. The front desk staff is friendly and fun too. Only concern is that the wait times can be a little long. But I've found that with most opthamologists I've seen.

DO NOT go to this doctor. She is incompetent. She botched a routine cataract surgery on my 85 year old mother. She busted the zonules in her eye (the structure that holds the lens in place) and could not replace the lens. As a result, my mother cannot see out of that eye. She saw a retina specialist who will have to put her under anasthesia and sew in a new lens. This is a much bigger surgery than routine cataracts. The retina specialist informed us that this "complication" occurs in 1% of cases. It is obvious that this "doctor's" lack of experience, knowledge, and skills left my mother in this dreadful position. I highly recommend steering clear of this bull in a china shop! She should look for a job as a construction worker, specifically in the area of demolition. On second thought she would probably screw that up too! Save your eyes and go to someone else!!!!!!! Run don't walk!

If I could leave no stars I would. I'm writing on behalf of my parents. She was extremely rude. First the original appointment was cancelled a day before. Which is difficult as my parents had to ask for the day off. We were under the impression it was going to be a surgery and due to referral issues she could not do anything. If that was the case the appointment could've been canceled letting us know that was the issue. She just said she will give an injection as it's a favor she would be doing, angrily. She had an attitude the entire time she met with us and gave the injection, she did not explain the process. When we asked the function of the injection she got angry and gave short answers not providing clarifying information. It created the space where parents felt they couldn't ask questions. Would not go again with her. The nurses were wonderful but Erika Brewer provided a horrible experience.
