We went to this place for my son for his kindergarten eye exam. Our appointment was at 9:15 and they told us to arrive at 9 to do paperwork which we did. At 10:45 we went up to the front desk and we were told a couple more minutes. They came and got us at 11 and just moved us to another waiting room for another hour before anyone came to see us. This is extremely unprofessional as if I showed 3 hours late I would not have an appointment anymore but they can make you wait 3 hours just to be seen. Will never be coming back to this joke of a practice. They should at least refund me for the amount of money I had to spend on parking due to having to wait for so long.

All my annual eye exams have been a wonderful experience. The staff is so friendly and caring.

Extremely misleading and borderline deceptive billing practices. Everything is pretty much double billed, both by RUSH (as hospital services despite being an outpatient clinic?) and by Eye Center Physicians. They squeeze every dollar they can out of you and your health insurance, and although it doesn't seem to technically be illegal, it should be. Functionally double billing.

The doctors are pretty good, but the billing system is a nightmare. You pay for everything TWICE: once for Eye Center Physicians, once for Rush. They have completely separate billing systems and they will not stop charging you with all kinds of diagnostic fees.

My experience with Dr. Stephanie Saadeh was unlike any other. Under the oversight of Dr. Tannan, Dr. Saadeh went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, address my acute eye discomfort and pain, and ensured I was educated on every part of the process despite the uncertainty and fear I felt in real time. She answered all my questions promptly and in layman's terms, and her bedside manner was impeccable. I've seen multiple Opthomalogist's and not one had treated me as well as Dr. Saadeh I will happily be returning and recommending others to RUSH for their eye care needs, especially attributed to Dr. Saadeh's overall care provided and attention to detail. She's an asset to this facility to say the least. 10/10 experience, grateful to have met such a knowledgeable opthomalogist!

Avoid at all costs. I see a neuro opto at Rush and she refers me here sometimes for testing. Always have to wait 2hrs for 5min of tests. They need to fix scheduling or get more staffs. Luckily my doc got some testing equipment; if I had to come here regularly I would switch doctors.

I had a severe and very rare eye infection case where I had to be referred to corneal specialists and I couldn't be more thankful for the care that I've received here. I've been coming here for 3 months now, and originally I was coming in 1-2 times a week given the nature of my issue. From the onset of my infection, the doctors NEVER gave up on trying to figure out what was wrong. They tested me for everything under the sun the first two weeks until I was finally diagnosed. I have a very rare case, so it was a niche issue that the doctors were determined to figure out and they did. Even when my eye got worse initially, they immediately took time out of their nights and even weekends to see me/call me and check on my progress and also went out of their way to contact other expert opinions and research my case. They always kept me in the loop/communicated with me 24/7. I couldn't be more grateful and thankful for Dr.Chen, Dr. Tannan, and Dr. Saadeh-Jackson for the care they've given me. They are absolute rockstars in their practice and the best in the city.

The attending doctors are skilled and very good. The residents are, well, residents and this is a teaching clinic. The staff is rude, sloppy and inattentive to patients. Expect to wait over two hours if you don't require dilation - bring a lunch if you do. This could be a top-notched care facility, if it were administered by competent folks. Too bad. We'll move to NMH.
