Angela was absolutely amazing. I had broken a pair of my glasses and found that Eye Spy carried my glasses. I sent an email asking if they could help me and within an hour. I had an email back from Angela to make a long story short, she was able to locate the temple I needed to repair my glasses, got back to me with information and within three hours of my first request, the replacement temple had been ordered. I didn't buy my glasses there. I don't live in Chicago and yet the service was just fantastic.

I've had the best experiences at Eye Spy Optical. The staff are friendly, helpful, and honest in their feedback in helping you find frames. Let's talk about the frames: they are handmade, imported, well-constructed and truly unique! Not a day goes by where I don't get a compliment on my frames. My most current pairs are the following: Francis Klein purple/gray cat eyes with custom-chosen Swarovski crystals in pink and green; magenta Nina Mur constructed from wood from sustainable forests in Finland; and a pair of prescription sunglasses by Anne et Valentin that people say make me look like Jackie O! I feel confident and sexy in all three pairs, and most importantly see extremely well out of all of them. Thank you Eye Spy, for an exceptional experience and product!

If you are looking for high quality designer glasses with an unusual shape or color, this is the place to go. Yes, they are pricey, but you also get what you pay for: high quality materials and a sharp design, from a curated boutique that saves you the work of searching for the most unusual styles out there. I've bought two pairs from them since 2017, and have gotten many compliments on both of my frames over the past 5 years. They also use excellent high quality lenses. The owner is cheerful, unbelievably patient, and caring--as are many of the staff members. I just got my first progressive lens with reading added. This required a few re-dos (it turns out that one of my eyes has a weird thing going on with the axis number being different for reading and distance). I was happy that they didn't give up on me and kept making adjustments until the prescription was accurate.

Eye Spy is an absolute gem of a place. I now have 5 pairs from them, I've brought frames in from France for lenses filled, and also get my prescription appointments from here too. Staff is super friendly, helpful, and informative. This is a specialty shop though, frames like this are hard to find, and Eye Spy does a fantastic job of curating a massive selection, keeping in fresh inventory, and being patient while I try on options. One day I walked in and tried on sunglasses, they were a must have which I've owned for a few years now and still adore. This place has made me look and feel more like "me" and I'm thankful. This is my go-to place.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful! I popped in at Eye Spa with my two year old daughter. They were super welcoming towards my active and handsy toddler. They pulled out toys for her to play with and didn't mind that she roamed around the store while I shopped. They have a wide variety of fun and funky frames. There was no pressure to buy. I highly recommend Eye Spa Optical if you are looking for a unique pair of frames and for a great service experience!
